Excellent espresso coffee good strength with bold taste

These are the best non-premium coffee pods I've found, and they are my regular choice. I drink espresso mostly, but don't like new-wave overly fruity/sour coffees you find in the new generation of cafes that have sprung up in the last decade. So, these suit me fine – they're like a good, bitter, strong Italian espresso, with a good crema. I usually pay around 30p a unit, and don't want to pay much more than that. However, I will be switching away from them. I want to either be able to recycle the pods, or I will stop using pods altogether. I am not convinced I can recycle these pods. There doesn't seem to be a local facility (and I live in London) that can handle them, and I can't find any information about recycling small amounts of aluminium. Is this just a box-ticking exercise, to market them as recyclable, but without any real commitment? I will try pods you can compost, but baven't found any near the 30p/unit mark yet.
