Brittle Packaging, Quality Millet, Good Taste
This arrived with a tear in the packaging because it was shipped with some other items that had a box corner, which cut the package and caused the millet to spill everywhere. So I would recommend that you not purchase this with anything that may have sharp or hard corners with your order, or you may wind up with spilled millet too! Cheap plastic packaging aside, it is a great product. No weird aftertaste, easy to cook, did not cause indigestion. I mix some of this with my rice before using the rice cooker. I also make porridge with it. Just keep adding water while cooking to get it to the consistency that you want. Oatmeal makes me feel sick at times, so I suspect I have some sort of wheat or gluten intolerance. This does not make me feel bloated or unwell. It is excellent quality and much cheaper than buying from my local supermarket. I did not find any impurities while rinsing. Highly recommended!

Package/ shipping issues. But good millet
Product is just fine except for the packaging that ripped in the bottom corners of the bag.... I guess in transit. (More of Amazon's fault) A fair amount of millet came out of the bag into the box. But it was not a total loss. I put some tape in the bottom corners and its been ok. Just don't like working to fix a product I paid for.

Google for Simple Millet Congee recipe ! Put in millet after water boils to prevent sticking to pot - stir often while cooking in medium flame!
