Review: A jump rope that will also impress others - Among the other heavy jump ropes of similar quality I've seen online, this is the best value because of the extra rope you get. Handles are well-made and swing well. I would advise anyone buying a Crossrope to always use a training mat, and to wrap the middle in protective tape, as the outside is a thin layer of rubber protecting interwoven steel cables. Bare concrete or asphalt will inevitably wear out any tape and underneath layer, unless you can completely keep the rope off the ground during your workout. Best protect your investment!
