I was tired of my 6 year old media center (older Ryzen board) not able to upgrade to the current windows version, so it was time to upgrade. New CPU, new board, and new RAM and I was set. This arrived quickly (overnight) and worked out of the gate. Only thing I had to do was to adjust the memory speed on the system board to get it to the correct speed rather than the default. No issues, no hiccups at all with the OS, so it seems to be stable and solid.

it is well packaged two DDR4 sticks 2x8 16 GB just as shown in the picture. G.SKILL is a good quality brand. I haven't opened them. Because I building a PC and I don't have all the parts yet. But I will buy this ram kit again.

I had intermittent memory issues on my rig. Or so it seemed. I ran memtest86 and it could not even complete, as memtest86 has a cap on number of errors. So my old memory was badddddd. And it was a very well known memory company. Bought this memory, as I have had good luck with gSkill memory in the past, and was irritated that the high name brand was junk. The gSkill ran through the memtest86 tests 3 consecutive times, with zero errors. Rig is much happier now. Only running the memory at 2666. Yes, it is rated higher, but I see no reason to push it. I never pushed the old memory either. Running an AMD Ryzen 5, on B450, so I see no need to crank up the speed. If it were that much of a concern, I would upgrade the motherboard and go to DDR5.

Easy to enable xmp and get full speeds. Fast and great to use as a stand alone kit or if you are upgrading to 32gb.

This is good memory. I've had no issues running this in my system at 2x8gb @ 3200 (XMP). HOWEVER, with this not being certified for Ryzen, I had alot of issues with stabilization after I added another 2x8gb kit of the same type. I couldn't get the system to boot @2933, and stable only @2800. Good RAM, but if you're looking to fill all your DIMM slots and run it at the rated speed, I'd look somewhere else.
