Can't beat the price. Unit works Great! I used on my Vintage Air System in my 1970 C10. Works and blows cold.

Very Poor Quality, Despite Company Claims
This compressor is absolute trash. It leaked from the rear seal upon initial refrigerant charge. Not a slow leak. A leak that came hissing out from the rear seal of the compressor (verified with dye) so loud that it sounded like an old steam locomotive pulling into a train station as soon as I began introducing R134a into the lines. Of course I didn’t get around to installing it and checking it until it was outside of the warranty period. So I’m SOL. But hopefully this review will encourage others not to waste money on this product or company.

First unit failed after a month, customer service is good though
Initially it worked great, but after a month the compressor clutch went out and no longer engages. Contacted the company and they allowed me to return (via Amazon customer service) and receive a refund. I still had to purchase a second one first though otherwise my car would not have been driveable.

TBI conversion
The cost is reasonable..I was tired of the R4 gm compressor leaking. So I found out they make a bracket for the sanden compressor in place of the R4. It fits nicely and had to turn outlets at 90 degrees to clear air cleaner. It blows real cold inside however I noticed a vibration/growling under power while ac was on. I checked the pressure readings and it appears ok. It might be in the conversion set up. Had to go to ac store to get pag 68. Local ones didn't carry it.
