I purchased this as our shower unit broke just before Christmas. This item is very easy to install and works really well (no dripping / leaking around the tap / hose connection). Just remove the bath tap aerator, connect this to the bath tap, unscrew the shower hose and connect that to this adaptor. Hey presto.. we have a working shower and can still run a bath by turning the lever. Excellent! I had to use the included adaptor to change the diameter of the fitting. Not sure if this necessary for everyone but at least you don’t need to rush to the plumbers merchants for anything (except perhaps a bath tap spanner to remove the aerator if you don’t have an adjustable spanner to hand?!). I highly recommend this product.

What a perfect little valve fitted it to a mono bidet tap which then made it possible to fit a shower head. I can now get the real benefit of a douche shower also due to the length of the shower hose can use it over the toilet or sink basin so wash my hair. I’m no plumber but was able to fit it myself without the need of special tools saved a fortune by not having to hire a plumber or by a new tap. Simple but clever gadget would highly recommend it

Perfect fit and easy to setup. Some washers provided to stop leakage. The faucet mode has the water coming out at a slightly strange shape (not a uniform stream) - but it's fine.

Am in a rental property with a pretty pathetic electric shower over the bath. Obviously it got me clean but I didn't get that lovely clean feeling you get from a really good shower and I hated it. The bath is fed from a gas powered combi boiler with excellent pressure, so I started to wonder "what if there was a product that..." and ended up here. All I can say is WOW - I've gone from pathetic shower to awesome shower for very little money/effort and without modifying my rental property. I'd go as far as to say that the fact it's not thermostatic is the only reason it's not up there with the best showers I've ever used. Things worth mentioning to prospective buyers: 1) Check you can unscrew the aerator from your tap first and measure it to be sure of the diameter (mine was 26mm so I needed to use the adaptor that's included, there's a different product if you have 28mm). You may need limescale remover and/or some parallel pliers or adjustable spanner. If you do see limescale, get that off before fitting the new adaptor. 2) I intended to reuse the hose/shower head from electric shower. However, they were designed for a low pressure electric shower, and this is high pressure, so water leaked everywhere. Easily fixed with a better hose & head rated for high pressure systems.

This product is perfect for converting the bath tap into a shower spray and back again. Originally, I sent it back as it didn't fit the tap but then I saw a converter part for sale and reordered the set with the converter and it now fits perfectly. If you are lucky to have the right size tap for either with or without the converter, then this is an amazing product as saves hundreds of pounds in plumbing fees in installing a mixer tap. The crucial thing is to measure the size and, if your tap is too big, to get the converter part.

I bought this diverter for my bathroom tap and started using it in Oct 2022. Installation was pretty straightforward and I was happy in general with the product. It did the job. Over time it became increasingly difficult to use the water flow switch as resistance increased over time. The switch eventually snapped in Aug 2023 so approx. 9 months later. Upon removal and inspection, it turns out that the switch is is a weak point in the product’s design and (surprisingly) it is made of silver painted plastic, which is subject to quick wear and tear. The product description states that the product is made of ‘Chrome’ with no mention of plastic parts (especially high usage ones) and is therefore arguably inaccurate and slightly mis-leading. It’s a pity to have to replace the diverter in its entirety as the other chrome parts are still perfectly fine. I will opt for another product to replace this one, which is a pity. The attached photos show the area where the plastic switch snapped.

My bathtub faucet broke and i couldn't find the right sized new faucet. So till i get my bath's renovation done this has solved my problem. I used this to connect my shower head to use water from sink tap and it solved my problem,shown in video. Divertor is very easy to install. 1.Unscrew the filter from Tap using an adjustable or spanner. 2.Screw the Divertor onto the tap with hand.No need to tighten it up with adjustable or spanner.Job done! Quality looks good too.

It leaked everywhere . Such a Caos

Diverter is plastic made and broke in 6 months only. So won't recommended it.
