Men's Flannel Lined Shirt Jacket Waxed Cotton Water Resistant Shacket Jacket

So, I bought XLT ( X large tall) when price reduced. I've had issues before with this brands sizing so took a chance and plumped for this one. Size is absolutely spot on If you just want to wear a t shirt underneath. Arm length is perfect. Length of garment is perfect as it sits just be!ow my bottom. My shoulders are a little bit broader than normal but still very comfortable when stretching arms out. Quality of garment is lovely. Looks great. Negatives? A few loose stitches which I carefully burnt off with a lighter. Blue/navy one is very dark, almost dark grey to light black. Also, the prices of these garments fluctuates on almost a daily basis Overall - fantastic looking garment, great quality perfect fit for a big lump like me

Beautiful Shacket. I chose Tarmac. Mine arrived perfect. Looks just like the picture. The material is a very nice texture like waxed denim to the touch. The stitching on the inside pocket is perfect (see photo) Amazon recommended me XL but I sized down to L as I want to wear over a T-Shirt or light shirt. It fits perfectly. I am 6ft 2in and 14 and a half stone. Use the size guide and measure before buying and all should be well. I was a bit nervous it wouldn't fit but it was fine. I'm very happy 😊

I really like this shirt or jacket!! It fits well and appears well.made. it has a slight wax feel to it but doesn't look like a wax jacket. It's warm but not so much you can't wear it on a daily basis as it's light enough to leave on ....hope that makes sense It looks good and I took a risk as it's not cheap but I have to say I'm quite impressed and happy I bought it.

Sort of good, but also not. Material feels quite plasticky, even after a wash rather than the brushed cotton I maybe expected. Fit and style is really nice, but the build quality is suspect. No visible flaws, but when I went to open the velcro inner pocket, the velcro stayed firmly closed and the pocket seam ripped instead, creating a hole in the lining. I just wish Carhaart had their own version of this.

Sizing is bizarre. Massive billowy arms. Fits more like a bomber jacket than a shirt jacket.

Jacket was advertised as being waxed cotton suede but it feels plasticy and synthetic, not at all what I was expecting. Quality seems poor for the price, with loose threads, poor stitching, etc. A real shame because I have bought a few items from this brand and they are usually ok. The only positive thing I would say about this jacket is that the size and fit of the tall size is actually quite good. I am 6 foot 4 and these are if anything slightly oversized on me.

This shirt jacket is a good fit for me, since now fall is here i wanted something light to wear that you can also layer, when it comes to light/mid rainy conditions with fog in the mix, it will keep you dry while you search for your late missing wife mary, James. (iykyk) as for taking care of your jacket, if its waxed you shouldn't wash it using a machine and eventually you'll have to buy paraffin wax for clothes to make sure it stays water resistant.

I bought this jacket first five years ago and ordered a large, which was my standard size at the time. What I got back then was a quality jacket but one that could be a bit uncomfortable to wear given that the arms were insulated with a weird material and it also ran quite small. Still, I rather liked it and thought it looked really nice, so I wore it until I put on some weight and outgrew it. Eventually ordered a new one in XXL, which is what I order in jackets now because I like them to be a little loose and baggy when I'm at work, my t-shirt size is XL. New version of the jacket is of even higher quality. The material it's made of still feels strong but is very very smooth almost like suede, and the arm insultation is vastly better. The XXL feels like it ran a little big this time, as it's quite loose on me now, moreso than other jackets I order in that size, but for me this is fine. I could easily wear a big sweater or hoodie with it in cold weather and still fit comfortably. If you're unsure, I would say you would likely be safe ordering this in your usual size even if you like things to hang a little looser. I bought the brown/'tobacco' color and it is an extremely attractive jacket I feel like I could wear a lot of places from my messy custodial job to mountain hiking to dinner at like a sit down sushi place. It's of a quality and appearance that I feel you could wear this on a date or a night out and you would look quite nice. The buttons look quite nice and are kind of a weathered brass look. Previous jacket had a problem with the wrist buttons coming undone constantly, seems to be fixed in this one. The flannel insulation is not thick and I would consider this more of a spring/fall jacket, but I could easily layer it if the temperatures dropped.

This is very good quality, very warm, fits great, the color and weight will amaze. It feels heavier than it looks but it feels almost like leather but softer. Even washes easily in washer and dryer, and looks great after washing even.

This jacket punches above its class. Comparable with jackets twice the price. I was going to get a Huckberry, but I’m glad I picked this instead. The stitching is very good, the materials are very good, and the wax is decent. It’s surprisingly thin and light, but in a good way. I felt warm with this jacket and a thin short sleeve in 35f. Indoors, I’m still comfortable and don’t feel hot like in other jackets. I’m able to move without restriction and feel confident placing it however I want. It looks very sharp overall. After standing it on a hanger for a day, the wrinkles and creases came out. Regardless of how I store it, I’m not worried about wrinkles. The style subdues any wrinkles, and they work themselves out naturally through normal wear. I only have one negative: the badge on the left sleeve. It feels tacky and the embroidery doesn’t match the quality of the jacket.
