Quality Handheld Mic Solution
I own the Sennheiser ew 100 ENG G3 Wireless Microphone System Combo. Which includes a plug-on transmitter for dynamic microphones. However, I've experienced some female talent not being comfortable with the weight of the microphone I use (Sennheiser MD-42) and plug-on together.The Sennheiser CL2 is an easy solution to the problem for me. I simply screw it into my G3 Wireless Transmitter Body Pack, and attach my handheld microphone. It makes a major weight difference. It allows me to transmit anything it will plug into. So very versatile in my work. It's a good thing to have in your bag even if you don't use it often. If I have a failure with my plug-on, this will work fine in a pinch.

Don’t buy this cable it won’t give you line level for wireless
I bought this cable because I read sennheiser had a clever way to allow line level input for wireless transmitters utilizing the ring of a trs connector. It’s a lie. There is no line level input. Using it was no different than any other cable. I’m sure it’s well constructed but not worth the price.

fits the bill
You'd think that Sennheiser would have included this with their shotgun mike kit, or at least listed it as an option. Not. In any event, this fits perfectly and connects to the digital recorder I purchased. Recommended.

Not up to my expectations
Didn't work - I tried it with 3-4 microphones. I may be using it wrong, but very disappointed so far. Used with a Sennheiser ew 112-p G3
