Review: Excellent Product - Works Fine On My Dodge 2500 Diesel Exhaust Manifold - I've got a beautiful 1999 Dodge RAM 2500 5.9L Cummins Diesel pickup. I've completely renewed it. I've also painted various engine parts and wanted to paint a new Exhaust Manifold. I painted the old Exhaust Manifold a few months ago and this paint held up very well and made it look new again. Then after only 200500 miles the old Exhaust Manifold cracked. Say what? Yeah! That's a long life! Thanks Dodge! Before putting on the new Exhaust Manifold I again used this paint and sprayed it on and let it set for 24 hours before attaching the EM to the engine. Heated the engine with some hard driving for about 30 minutes... and now, 200 miles later, it still looks great. Bottom Line: I trust this paint and I give it 5 stars for its value and quality. I highly recommend it.
Review: Excellent coverage - Personal opinion it is a thinner spray paint coverage wise BUT with 2 moderate coats it did feel it had very affective coverage. The coverage does seem very durable with air drying a then sitting in direct summer sunlight. The factory grey is a few shades darker color than the raw stainless steel of the flowmaster fx muffler I applied it to.

**Q: I have small shed next to a 22KW Generac generator.  can this be used on wood to protect from the exhaust of the generator?**
A: Only if it's used in conjunction with a drip line electrical fence that's rated at .02745 kilowatts with a half spun reducer coil the helps to not empede the heat from that generic exhaust once it hits the wood. If that doesn't work cut a hole in your shed and run a schedule 80 pvc pipe from exhaust into wooden shed so it'll heat it during winter months like some colleagues of mine do in the Ohio area. Basically if you want to protect your wood from exhaust from a generator I'd recommend a different approach to solve your dilemma.  Like for instance leaving home ownership to someone that would think your method was feasibly foolish. My best recommendation Bobby is to sell your home and start renting. No Bobby, painting a wood shed with hightemp exhaust paint will not protect the wood. It's kind of a humorous approach to a home improvement project I'll give you that Bobby.  I do not recommend this type of method your seeking. I have no recommendations for you regarding anything. Hope this helps you. It's exhaust paint. To be applied to metals. Not woods of any variety.
