Like all PC peripherals, you have to be aware of the added heat, and improve your case cooling if required. This has not proven to be the case, as i still benchmark the same, except now i have 2 extra hard drives. giving my system 6 NVMe M.2's now. I did a lot of readin, and where performance does drop, the amount is negligable. Personnally, I am fortunate enough to have a very powerful Asus Rog Strix z790f motherboard.
