Kurt Adler UL 10-Light LED Silver and Blue Hanukkah Star Shimmer Treetop

We have a mixed faith home and this is the perfect topper for our Christmakkuh tree. It is very heavy though - had to zip tie it to keep it from tipping over.

Works as expected.

Overall: Amazing, beautiful tree topper that we like a lot. The LED version is better.As you can see in the pictures, the LED plug-in version (on the right) is way better and brighter than the battery-operated one (on the left). The LED one has a silver frame, which I think matches Chanukah colors a little bit better. Also, with the LED plug-in one, we can just set it on a timer with our lights and not have to worry about turning on/off each night.Cons: The holder is not that great; we have to stuff paper inside the metal coil to keep the star more stable on the branch. Currently when lit, it looks like 5 light bulbs inside even though it's a 6-point star. The material inside the frame is a bit flimsy.

Star is beautiful! Came in really good condition and was not damage at all. We’ll made and very sturdy. Once the star was lit it looked so beautiful!

So first of all... be careful when handling this- some of the metal ends are a bit sharp lol. That being said, it looked pretty but also weird with foam in the packaging. When we put it on the tree it wouldn't stand on it's own despite shoving the entire top of the tree into it! SO I did what everyone does, found a random useful item (alligator hair clip that happened to be white) and finagled it so that it was stable and stood perfectly on the tree. It lit up beautifully and I had NO issues with the light and we kept it on all the time.It came off the tree in perfect condition and it will now be our new tree star until is decides it has had enough :)I love Kurt Adler everything (ornaments) and his Hanukkah items for trees and beyond. He has yet to disappoint me!

Could not get the star to stay upright due to its weight. I had to return it and get smething light and plastic. It liked great, but my tree was small and it was too big.

I bought two of these, one as a gift and one for us. One was fine, but ours has bent edges and lost a piece that finishes one corner. It is really cute and I’m very happy it has LED lights.

Its a nice topper, but it all depends how much you paid for it. Is it a $40 item? No way! Around 20? - maybe. The inside blue part is not made from glass (like it supposed to), rather from thick blue paper and its very fragile. If any of the light bulbs go out - you are on your own, since I don't see a way to replace a light bulb without breaking it apart. But from the distance, on the tree, it does look nice. Hopefully it will survive few seasons, but I do not expect more than that.
