I’ve been using the Kitchen Scales by New Horizon since 2021, and they’re still going strong - a testament to their durability. These scales have been a trusty companion for specific tasks, like when I was weighing out seeds for growing veggies in my garden. They also came in handy for tracking macros and calories, easily handling small amounts of food with impressive accuracy. For lightweight items, they’re spot-on, which makes them perfect for precision jobs. That said, they’re not without limitations. The platform is pretty small, so they’re not ideal for anything bulky or heavy-duty. Honestly, I wouldn’t really recommend them for general kitchen use (think baking big batches or weighing larger ingredients) since their size and capacity just don’t cut it for that. But for delicate, light weighing tasks, they’ve been a reliable little tool in my arsenal for years now!

Easy to setup and was perfect for my little at home science experiment.

My cat has been put onto long term pain medication in the form of capsules (she has poornteeth and failing kidneys), however she can only have 1/4 capsule at a time. Because ofnher kidney disease w need to make sure she was getting the right amount of medication so we bought scales to weigh out her meds. Obviously its a tiny amount each time from the capsule so chose scales which could handle the weight of her feeding dish but also the tiny weight of her capsules. The display on these scales is never static, it jumps around so much continuously no matter how much we tried to calibrate them. We tried different surfaces, different rooms, different settings, they would not stay at one weight which made it impossible to use them. When opening my cats medication it jumped about between 180 -260-80-0 and we had no way of knowing which of the measurements was correct (except.zero because obviously we'd put the medication from the capsules on the plate on the scales). To add to this the display doesn't work if you have any kind of overhead light, it's impossible to see unless you move it into deep shadow. All in all they are completely unusable and I returned them in search of a different brand.

Approximate weight we can measure using this device not accurate but helps for household. Quality is excellent, battery life is good, value for money.

Me encanta, viene en donde las pilas un hueco por si quieres tener las pilas quitadas cuando no lo uses ponerlo hay, si no también te sirve para poner unas pilas de repuesto. Pesa bien. Me encanta.

Works great

I've been using this for a month and it's accurate, it's small, it's got a manual timer and and auto timer which does evening I need for coffee making (espresso and Aeropress). I've yet to recharge it. The small size means I can pop it under my cup when making espresso.
