These are really easy to install. They are metal, so they are less likely to break and they seal really well. Comes with everything to install, including drill bit and file. Definitely recommend to add a vent to your gas cans!

Works great. Seals tightly. Secured it place easily. Knurled cap has a good tactile feel to it. Bet the plastic of the can will fail long before these vent caps. Easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Worth every penny. So much cheaper than buying new cans or plastic replacements every few years.

Phenomenal design. Very easy to install. The rubber grommet is a tight fit, but with a thin screwdriver I was able to slide it all into the hole. Don't have to go over tight, but also don't have to be super precise with the torque. It will fill the hole nicely. Really really happy with these. It's not often you get something at such a good price that actually works so well.

I read a lot of reviews looking for a vent option for my two Midwest metal jerry cans from HF. Another reviewer sold me on these and they were spot on. The drill bit made easy work of the metal can (I made a small pilot hole first), and these were easy to install and have a very tight seal. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because one of my vents was bad - the nut failed to continue tightening about halfway down and kept clicking off and not engaging the threads. I only had three cans to use these on, and luckily the other three worked flawlessly. At 10 bucks this is still a great value, very good all-in-one kit, I just wish I had the fourth one for a future can.

Very pleased that went in real nice. I had a little trouble at first getting it in all the way maybe that’s because I’m 80 years old and a woman ha ha but I got it. Directions were real good very easy to follow.

Most of the cheaper options don’t come with rubber seals and the gas evaporates and leaks. This is a high quality product that works exceptionally well. Amazing that it comes with all the install tools at this price.

These work very well. I installed them on four "No Spill" brand 5 gallon fuel cans. Prior to installation the "No Spill" cans consistently gasped for air when dispensing gas or diesel fuel even though they are supposed to flow freely. Once these vents were added the fuel poured freely from both the diesel and gas cans. You can really see the difference when dispensing when you start with the vent open and then put your thumb over the hole. The flow really slows down. The "No Spill" cans are pretty thick. The area where I installed mine is 11/64" thick and it securely sealed the vent. It does not leak. The installation was very easy but there are a few things to consider. First, even though I applied vacuum with a shop vac to prevent plastic from falling into the can as I drilled the hole, a piece of plastic ended up in each of the 4 cans. If you have a gas can with a non-removable screen in the fill hole you may not be able to get the debris out. Second, the rubber seal is a pretty tight fit in the drilled hole. The nut has to be backed off as far as possible and, even then, I had to carefully poke the edge into the hole with a small flat blade screwdriver to get it seated. When doing this you need to be careful not to tear the rubber seal. Third, although it comes with a wrench and flat blade, it is a lot easier to install with a 10mm open end ratchet wrench. It would be nice if they instructions were more specific regarding how tight to tighten the nut.

I installed these on my older plastic fuel tanks that were manufactured without vents. The vents have a well-built, quality machined brass body with rubber grommet and a positive seal threaded cap, unlike the cheaper one-piece, all-plastic snap-in vents. Installation is straightforward. I recommend spraying a soapy water solution on the grommet as a lubricant when pushing it into the drilled hole in the tank, also using a small plastic pry tool to aid in seating the grommet. Having the necessary tools to perform the installation included in the kit (drill bit, file, wrench and mini-screwdriver) also made installation a breeze. All I needed was my power drill.

The perfect fix for the old style Weldco gas cans that always ends up with the vent cap breaking. My cans are like new again. Good solid product.
