BOSCH MS4034 34-Piece Drilling and Driving Mixed Set with Included Case for Applications in Wood, Metal, Masonry

Bosch has always been the hallmark of high quality, and this drill bit set is no different. (All us VW fans from way back remember Bosch parts as the "go to" parts replacements. When I recently saw that they had introduced some battery operated drivers and drill bit set combos, my first thought was that it was probably high quality, solid, and soundly manufactured, and that I would not be disappointed with the purchase. Just like then, so now - pay a premium price but avoid a lot of trouble down the line! And indeed these bits are high quality. Easy to remove, decent enough value for the money - (you're paying for the brand, and in this case, the brand holds up to its reputation very well!) (At least in my experience so far!) and sure to last a long time. These are the bits that you keep and re-sharpen when they get dull. I've thoroughly enjoyed using these bits, well, as much as one can enjoy using drill bits - they really bite - the wood that is - and work as they're supposed to. Kind of took me by surprise in a way, having been used to bearing a lot of pressure on the drill, but these went in like a hot knife though butter. Good drill bits can make a big difference. I also noticed that the metals seem to be stronger than some other bit sets I've purchased for less elsewhere. You can tell just by looking at the metal and seeing the machining and feeling the edge. (Make sure to have a bandage handy if you do feel the edges - - - they're sharp!) I would heartily recommend this bit set as an addition to the Bosch battery operated drill and impact driver set, or even as a "stand-alone" for someone who already has a favorite drill. In my opinion, these bits live up to their name and implied quality of the brand. And that's not all - the bits come packed in a very usable plastic case with bit holders that are actually easy to remove the bits from and put back into. Yeah, this helps keep things organized. No cheap case either, seems to be strong and durable and should last as a bit holder for many years to come. Nice deal all in all - totally recommend - good quality for the money and a brand name to boot! No doubt they will last for years!

Many of the components in this box are very practical and easy to connect. However, the sizes of some of the drill bits are difficult to distinguish.

The case is brilliant, and that's what you're paying for here. It's right in the middle between soft and brittle and it feels like you could throw it off a building and it would be fine. The bits all fit in very snugly and can take some effort to remove. That's the point. When you look at how tough this case is, it's obviously designed to survive being dropped, and guess what happens with easy to remove bits when their case gets dropped? They pop loose. That doesn't happen here, and that's clearly the intent. Shake this thing as hard as you can and nothing comes loose. You can barely hear anything RATTLING everything fits so snugly, which again, is the point of this kit. The quality of the bits is not high. But this is a TEN DOLLAR KIT with an amazing case, how much quality did you expect to get from FIFTEEN bits? Bosch sells EMPTY bit cases for $6. Now subtract the sockets, adapter, screwdriver bits and holder, and what are you left with? The combined value of all those drill bits can't be more than $2. It's pretty plain to me that you're supposed to replace them as you go with higher quality bits. Had they all been regular quality Bosch bits, this would have been a $40 kit instead of a $10 kit. Instead you can replace what you need and build the kit the way you want. I call that flexibility. When criticizing this set, do it in the context of it costing $9.99.

Starting over from scratch – no tools! I bought a power drill and this set of attachments for it and so far I have not needed to buy anything else. This has it all plenty of sizes for screwdrivers, drill, bits, and even a tiny level inside. Not gonna lie that’s more for just being there and being cute because it’s too small to really do any good for me. Love that it keeps all of the accessories, neat and tidy.

This is a very nice set from Bosch. A plus for any shop.

This review is well deserved. I bought these ages ago for another project, but didn’t need them until today. If you’ve ever tried drilling into metal, you’ll know you can put screws into anything BUT metal… Then you’ll eventually need make a pilot hole. These did the job with ease. So WELL that I was scared to snap it because I put too much pressure when attempting to make a pilot hole lol. The tools saved the day with their sharpness. Cut right through the aluminum door panel. No wobble. No bending or snapping.

Ordered this with a Bosch drill. Had to return the drill but I kept the the drill bits since these were ordered separately. Drill bits are drill bits. They are sharp and they cover mostly all types of drilling

Excellent set to just have in your bin/truck. Good all in one kit when you need it. Excellent sturdy locking case. Standard assortment. I've got drill bit kits/cases coming out my a$$, This one can cover me for nearly anything needed in a pinch.

The product is above my expectations for Bosch and the bits are really great. I'm having hard time to find replacement of wood bits which I had great time working with. Certainly recommend it.
