A perfect treat for our perfect puppy!
This peanut butter for dogs (with no additives) is such a favourite with our beautiful one year old wire-haired fox terrier. He loves it on rice cakes and never seems to tire of it. We are very careful about what we give him and prefer this particular brand of peanut butter because there are no other ingredients in it at all, thus making it the safest version we've found. As other reviewers have said, some brands of peanut butter for dogs still include additional ingredients, sometimes to stiffen or thicken the mixture, but we've found this version to be perfectly fine and not thin or difficult to use at all. In fact the consistency is one of its good points because it allows it to be spread thinly and thus one can control the amount given to the dog more accurately. It's far less worrying when you know your dog would love to have peanut butter and you can buy this one which is pure and safe. The normal peanut butter which one buys for human consumption from the usual supermarkets is not usually safe for dogs to have because of the additives and also possibly contains xylotol which can be fatal if your dog ingests them. With this pure peanut butter we can at least feel as sure as we can be that it is both safe and a huge pleasure for our dog to enjoy. The price is just about affordable for regular buying but we hope it doesn't get so high that we have to buy it less regularly. A great product which we have also placed on regular order and thank goodness we can still get it from the seller, Vittys Bazzar.

Oh they love it
Hi. I’m Penny and I’m 1 and 3/4. I can jump really high for a Cavalier and I keep trying to get the tub off the worktop when Dad says “peanut butter” but I have to sit down like my big sister Cinna when he dips my biscuit in it or I won’t get it. It’s quite runny for peanut butter but that’s good like it says in the description and when Dad gives it to us he normally drips a drop on Cinna’s ear and I get to lick that too. And I’m the big sister. We have biscuits on one worktop, peanut butter on another, and green beans in the fridge. When Dad says “treat” I always head for the worktop with the peanut butter and that little hooligan jumps all over me and I have to wait for her to calm down. But it’s worth the wait. It’s peanuty and buttery and you can dip stuff in it to get coated. It’s runny compared to the stuff humans get but that just means Dad drips it and I really don’t see that as a negative. And it lasts for ages too but that’s cos Mum tells Dad not to give us too much. I mean, derr Mum, you just made that too much thing up. That doesn’t really exist.

A little bit too runny to use
My dog likes this, but it’s a nightmare to use, the consistency means that it turns to liquid almost sometimes. And it’s been stored correctly. Because of this it’s really made it difficult to use for his kong, and other toys. Maybe this would work great on a lick mat where the runny consistency would benefit, but for our applications we’ll probably get something else Great that it stays away from the harmfuls though

My puppy loves this
I bought this for two reasons, to add to a Kong feeder and to help slow my puppy's feeding time. I fill a Kong with her normal kibble, then seal the hole with several finger scoops of this peanut butter, then freeze the whole thing. It works wonders for teething puppy, slows her eating down to a crawl and uses some of those fine motor skills to get the peanut butter and kibble out. I tried this peanut butter (licking my finger) and it tastes like ordinary peanut butter to me. The consistency is slightly thinner and runnier than human PB, so I keep it in the fridge. I have also used the tiniest amount on some of her chew toys, more oil than product and this has renewed her interest in some toys. Out of her 4 meals a day only one has a little bit of PB, I think it's important to keep her diet sensible. All in all a great product that puppy likes, I will buy this again

A little runny
I found this a little runny even after giving it a good stir. Therefore had to be careful where I gave it to the dog. I used it in a Kong toy with a few bits of kibble. Dog loves it, which I guess is the important bit.
