They work perfect, but stinks!!
Excellent item, we've been ordering them a lot. Our neighborhood has a lot of new homes being built and naturally the workers leave food and trash all over the jobsites and the flies just keep coming from all directions. Simple setup, super cheap and works great. Just add water, swish around to mix and dilute the pouch and go hang on a tree somewhat away from any open windows and sitting areas. Mine is about 20 feet away from our patio, and on the wrong gust of wind and a hot day you can catch a nice gust of horse and other animal manure which is what attracts all the flies. Works great though and highly recommend it, just don't use indoors lol!

Stinks good!
Works just as intended. Attracts flys as well as any other item i've used. I kept a previous hanging bait bucket and just used this powder to refill. It was easy to use, just pour and mix. Smells horrific but that's the magic. Bought two packs and would buy again

Fly trap
The fly trap worked very well, however, there was a very strong odor. We had to remove from garage. I would purchase again as it caught a lot of flies but put in a place without direct foot traffic to main house.

If you have a lot of flies, spend a few more dollars and get the Captivator traps by Starbar
I have a small farm with 3 horses. I bought these because I was using a Captivator trap and it was working really well, but I needed a few more. These were a few dollars cheaper each. Here is what I found: The pros: They work well to catch flies. Decent price The blue jars means you don't have to stare at dead flies as much The top that lets flies in can be "locked" open or closed The cons: They are much smaller than the Captivator traps so they need to be refilled more frequently Jars are flimsy Caps do not screw on well (but they did seem to hold, even if a little off-kilter) Blue labels makes it harder to see when the trap is full or needs to be re-filled. Stinky is an understatement- but this is true off all traps of this type, and what makes it work. Pro-tip- WEAR DISPOSABLE GLOVES when you handle these. These traps worked pretty well and did catch a lot of flies, but they did not hold NEARLY as many as the Captivator traps that are just about $2 more each. Also, the small size and amount of water means these traps dried out quickly this year and the bait had to be refilled more often.

The BEST and WORST product
This worked amazing! After 2 weeks it filled out with flys. The SMELL WAS THE WORST SMELL TO EVER EXIST. I will not buy again because it made my yard have the most unimaginable stink there is. Catching a wiff from the wind could put you into a a full thrown vomit. Now it’s full and I need to dispose of, but I’ll suffocate of the smell in that process so not sure what to do about discarding without dying.

Smells horrible to attract flies! It's all over my yard...
The scent of this product is the worst. I had good results with another brand and wanted to continue my killing of flies. Tried a cheaper brand "Catchmaster." Simple instructions, easy to use, horrific scent to attract flies. Filled to the appropriate level and suspended in a corner, away from the potential of smelling this with even the slightest breeze. The bad part was that the portion that supports the weight of this system broke loose and spilled its vagrant contents into my yard. One of my dogs didn't refuse the putrid odor and lapped it up (non toxic,) well some of it. The rest looked like a wet spot of dirt. Word spreads fast. Within a period of 3 hours (from when my wife notified me at work about the catastrophe that happened,) to the time I got home, I could understand why she vomited on the patio. The ground was solid black with flies. Any disturbance would send them into a frenzy. Looked like a scene from The Mummy when the plague took over the desert. There was nothing I could do to stop their draw to this milky, disgusting fluid. I had to endure the flies trying to penetrate my visible orifices, until I could collect the rancid moisture that collected in the soil. Shoveled this failed option for collecting flies into a bucket and tried my best to figure what to do next. Any ideas? How much does it cost to return to the manufacture to figure a solution, so this doesn't happen to anyone else?

Awesome Product
Wow this stuff really works and works fast, very simple to use. We have orchards, chickens and cattle so flies can get quite annoying in the summer months. I put 2 of these out and in an hour there were a lot of flies in both. After 2 days both were loaded. But it needs to be away from areas where you relax or kids and pets around. IT REALLY STINKS!!! You do not want to get that liquid on anything, especially your kids or a curious pet. My only dislike about it is the cap. When you open it up it slides down into the closed position unless you hang it up. Also if your yard is small with limited air circulation the smell might be overwhelming.

Draws flies, just as intended!
These fly traps are fantastic, as long as you can find a spot to hang them where they aren’t upwind from your outdoor recreation area. The stench is intentional to draw the flies and they do that very nicely, ours filled up halfway in no time flat. Will purchase again next spring.
