The base is solid; perfect for cooking on any surface (induction, ceramic or gas). For those who don't have a clue, you really need to SEASON THE PAN BEFORE USING IT. Seasoning is a simple process: 1. Make sure you pan has been washed thoroughly. 2. Put the pan on the highest heat and let it warm through a bit. 3. Drop a teaspoon full of oil in the middle then rub it round with some kitchen roll so the surface is evenly coated. 4. Heat the oil until it turns slightly yellow. 5. Remove from the heat - you're done. You may need to do this if you decide to thoroughly clean your pan again. I would recommend just running it under hot water and giving it a hearty rub down with a cloth. Try not to remove the proofing you've applied. For those who decide to cook from without seasoning: DON'T!

Absolutely brilliant. This is exactly what I wanted. The base is solid; perfect for cooking on any surface (induction, ceramic or gas). For those who don't have a clue, you really need to SEASON THE PAN BEFORE USING IT. Seasoning is a simple process: 1. Make sure you pan has been washed thoroughly. 2.
