Texas Sage | 3 Live Plants | Leucophyllum frutescens | Drought-Tolerant Shrub for Landscaping | Hardy Evergreen with Silver Foliage and Purple Blooms

The sage came swiftly and in good condition. The weather during its shipment was not hot or cold. If it had been, I could not speak to the success in condition upon arrival. The plants were wilted but spruced right up when planted and watered. Very happy. Well worth the momey.

First off, the listing says plants, but these barely qualify as rooted cuttings. They are single stem, less than 3 inches long and have a few roots. At the most expensive nursery I go to in person a 6 pack of a bush this size would run less than ten dollars. If they'd given any indication that they are cuttings not plants, I would never have spent $29. In addition to that, they were packaged poorly, so that the plants got stuck under a box flap and the stems were damaged and most of the dirt came out of 2 of 3, leaving the few roots they have exposed to air. I doubt those two will make it butni planted them all up and will hope for the best.

These were very small, packaged in egg carton size cups. 3 were dead and all dried up, watered them but they did not revive. The other 7 are doing ok but transplanted them right away I to larger containers. I wouldn’t plant a seed in those cup because as soon as it sprouts it would need more space. The three that died were I. Dry cups and the teaspoon of soil had fallen into the bottom of the box. The box was marked fragile but the plants were not anchored in anyway so they got bounced around. Very poor packaging!!

Although the plants and root ball were very small, they arrived alive and healthy. I have planted them in a pot and they are alive and slowly growing.

Tiny little dudes. One was just a stem. Potted in very small compartments. There is only a tablespoon or so of dirt. They did arrive moist. Here’s hoping two little Guys survive. I potted them and will plant when the outside temperature drops below 100 deg. F.

Two of the three arrived dry but alive. One had no chance. I planted these 10 months ago, (September) and covered the pot with a frost sock for the winter. Slow spring and early summer for them but WOWSKI!! They are blowing up in this Mojave heat. I have them in afternoon shade. When I transplant them they will get full sun. I know they will do good here. The landscaping on base here has a few dozen and they look spectacular in the summer. It seems like they go dormant in the winter. By the way, these plants love fulvic acid. 60 days ago mine were 7 inches. After two treatments, they hit 12 inches today. Quite the growth spurt.

Received these today and are really small and fragile. Ad was completely misleading. Containers are thumb sized and considering all aspects plants are way over priced. There was very little dirt/soil surrounding the plants. We are going to plant them in other containers and try to save them for transplanting in a few months. Otherwise we would be returning but won't due to cost of return.

I was so happy with this purchase. They delivered and processed my order speedily. However, I live in hellish heat, reaching 120 degrees, so my wonderful plant died. It's so sad. However, this shouldn't take away from a great seller.
