While expensive the lawn edgers work incredibly well and are excellently weighted.

I've had other edging shears but nothing as sharp or sturdy as these. They've got a real spring to them and although on the heavier side, are still comfortable for an older lady to use and get really sharp edges to the lawn in next to no time. With these and an excellent half moon edging iron, you'll be good to go.

I bought these after years of buying edging shears in the £20 to £30 price range which stay sharp for about 6 months and after that remain persistently blunt, despite my sharpening attempts.These shears are working well so far and remain sharp.The only downside is that they are on the heavy side.

After poor experience over the years with shears becoming less sharp i forked out for this quality item and I am not disappointed.I waited a year before reviewing and it remains very sharp.The only disadveantage is it's a bit heavy.
