Sony Portable CD Player (D-F200)

great price lucky to find one

I listen to books on CD while on the treadmill and it's important that I am able to pause and return to the same spot later....This CD player is perfect for my needs.

WATCH OUT!! This player was defective from the time we received it, but it was deceptive. The first 2 CDs we tried to play in it did not work. However the 3rd did. Several others did as well and we assumed that something was defective about the first two we tried. However as we used the player it seemed to reject more an more until now the player will not work at all.I attempted to return the player to the seller and received the message "Blubery has closed the return request listed below. Reason for the closure of your request: Expiration of returns period" This is totally unacceptable for a product with this manufacturers name on it and their reputation.I strongly recommend NEVER purchasing anything from (or via) Blubery. And I further strongly recommend that Amazon terminate carrying any of their products in the future!

It came with no head phones. I had to go an purchase the cheapest set of head phones I could buy that were comparable for the CD player at two times the amount of the CD player from Best Buy on Route 22 in Union

I bought this one b.c it has 12MW + 12MW headphone output (the new ones only have about 1/2 that),the only ones that have more than that (15MW+15MW) are the D-NE330 and DNF-430 but these are hard to find (also the D-NE330 doesn't have AM/FM)this is missing a couple of features (No Atrac3 and Parametric Equalizer) all in all if you got a lot of Regular CDs and CD-Rs (I haven't checked to see if it plays for MP3 CDs yet) this is a great bargain for the ptice.This has really good sound at about the right volume level (about twice as loud as my Panasonic SL-CT700).

This CD player is really strong. I have dropped 3 others but this one didn't break. It has all the functions I needed.

I did not get my CD player from Amazon - my parents bought this for me when I was 8 or 9 because I was constantly listening to music (and that habit hasn't died hehe). Money well-spent; it's over a decade old and now I use it for my dog to leave background noise on for her when I'm at work, and as my primary radio unit in my house.This thing is indestructible. I was a child when it was used heavily - I have dropped it countless times and this thing doesn't even skip. The outside is definitely loved, but it doesn't look worn out and the color hasn't faded off of it in any place. It outputs as crisply as it did the day I got it, eats batteries at a really reasonable rate, and has a strong built-in AM/FM receiver for a device this size. I love it so much that I'm writing an Amazon review for it when I didn't even get it from here. This thing is the epitome of quality. Buy it.
