I bought it as someone recommended for sharpening my dull knives rather than paying everytime to get them sharpened. And I was amazed. It's a wonderful product sharpened the knives blades and made them cut as if they were new. Plus it's so cheap, saves you so much money as compared to buying new knives or getting them sharpened every two months. Even my husband used it for sharpening his pocket knife and it worked wonders on that too. Recommend it highly

Sharpening ability is good. In this price the product is good and durable.

Received safely with 4 layer packing. Shows how much they value their product and customer satisfaction. I was using a carborundum whetstone earlier. It was 160 or so grit and purchased locally @ ₹ 200 (MRP ₹ 230/-). I could see other offers of whetstones (same size) with combination #100 - 320 grit (low to medium low). But this combination whetstone has #240 - 800 grit (medium to low fine) which is a steal at about the same price! Use stdictly as suggested by the manufacturers for years of endurance. I believe it could be used for scissors too. And one more thing, I believe you can't sharpen to original level a blunt STAINLESS STEEL knife/scissors as they have special coating in manufacturing (your experience please). For steel/ironknifes and tools it is working wonderfully.

Good: - Good decent size. - Easy to store and use - 2 surfaces, one for finer sharpening and other for more rough surface but blunt knifes - Well molded Not So Good: - Product wise really noting to complain - Pricing can be more comparative Have used to sharper the knife that we use regularly at home and results were just outstanding. 2 test that I put a knife through are: 1. Slicing Tomatoes, it was a pleasure using the newly sharpened knife 2. Peeling the skin of a ripe mango. Was really happy with the result Highly recommended to have this at each and every home

This review I am posting around 2-3 yrs or more than that..... This knife sharpener is playing key role in our kitchen for past so many years. It is working absolutely perfect for any kind of knife.

this is a cheep stone. so as expected the quality is not top notch. it sharpens knives and tools but chips off very easily
