Kindergarten Common Core Math: Daily Practice Workbook | 1000+ Practice Questions and Video Explanations | Argo Brothers (Next Generation Learning Standards Aligned (NGSS))

This was for me to do an overview over the summer for my child. The questions could be better planned. They have superheros at the beginning and they feature randomly. They would be better in colour as they look like they have fantastic outfits but it's all black and white printing. However, it is a useful, no. nonsense book that is a very useful addition.

So this is honestly a great start for really anyone having trouble with the basics of Common Core, it's really helped me understand it at it's most primitive level! I know a lot of people have been complaining about the standard change, but this helps take the mystery away a bit. That said... There aren't enough explanations in a way that is super helpful; some improvements might include videos that provide more than just a simple "how to use this page" (like why the lesson is important, which was my original assumption of them), add a perforated chart that follows the children through the book to remind them of the order of all numbers by 1's & 10's, & to add a bit of beginning dialogue about what Common Core essentially is in the beginning.

So I used this to reinforce Spectrum Hands-on Math for K. Problem is some of the questions asked about colors and the pictures are in black and white more like grayish... I feel like it was poorly made due to laziness or cheapness. But a lot of the stuff in there is common core and does provide good workbook practice just some questions are iffy.

Book claims you can access videos but there are no videos on the website for the kindergarten level books. This was the primary reason I bought the books, so it was really disappointing to not have access.
