Westcott Mini Utility Ceramic Safety Blade Cutter - Green

I carry this in my purse for work, and I fly often, and I have no problem getting through security. Great product I have been using this for years.

I love these little cutters and have purchased 3 in the last 11 years.

First, it is really quick and easy to use and it's sharp but not unsafe (I haven't been able to open plastic 'clamshells though). I definitely feel better using this than a box cutter knife. However, I was disappointed to find that this item cannot be used with both hands. My spouse and I are both left handed and this device really only works if you are right handed. I even took it apart to see if there was a way to 'flip' the blade, and there isn't. Like others have mentioned it doesn't "lock" open (you have to hold the slider in the open position the whole time you use it), but that really wouldn't be an issue if you use it with your right hand. I wish there was an option to either use it in your left hand or buy one that's left handed. It's a little weird to use in your non dominant hand.

Compact, easy to use, cuts great. I never realized how much I used it until I misplaced it one day and couldn't find a good alternative. Now I got a backup just in case!
