I have been using this scissor kit since 2024, and it has worked flawlessly every single time. Both the regular cutting shears and the thinning shears are still incredibly sharp after two years of use. They cut cleanly without folding, bending, or pulling the hair. They have a nice weight to them and feel very comfortable and ergonomic in the hand. I also really appreciate the included zippered case (shown in my pictures). It has specific elastic bands to keep the scissors, comb, and clips perfectly organized and safely stored away. If you are starting to cut hair at home to save money, this kit pays for itself after the very first use and will easily last you for years. Excellent quality for the price!

I should preface my review by saying that I'm not a professional. I don't work in a salon. I'm just an average person with very VERY thick hair. I got tired of getting turned away by most hairstylists in my town for having too thick hair. And the ones who were willing to cut my hair usually ended up destroying my layers and turning my hair into a frizzy triangle. With these scissors, I was able to cut my hair exactly how I wanted at home. The scissors are very sharp. Like a hot knife through butter. And the thinning shears are excellent for thick hair. I don't think I'll be getting salon haircuts anymore. I was able to do a better job at home than every professional I've seen in less than half the time. Overall, excellent sharpness with a smooth cut, nice sturdy weight, and excellent value.

Gray hair scissors! I would not use for anything else besides hair! I used these to take a zip tie off a toy and it bent a part of the scissors. Thankfully I was able to resharpen them but they are not great for other things besides hair. This was really just a misuse on my part but the scissors do work well to cut hair and they fit nicely in your hands as well. They are a little on the heavier side which does make them feel more durable and they are very easy to use, when used correctly.

For people with no experience we consider this a great little kit. It comes with regular scissors, thinning scissors, a microfiber wipe, 2 hair clips to keep hair back and an adjustment tool. All of this can be stored in a cheaply built, but nonetheless convenient zippered case. Both pairs of scissors are sharp and comfortable to use, with nicely rounded finger holes. The blades cut through hair smoothly without damaging hair and leaving it choppy. They feel really solid and durable, hopefully will stay sharp for a long time. They came a little out of adjustment but that was easy to fix with the included tool. My gf has never cut hair before and has given me multiple haircuts since getting these that turned out better than at the barber and of course were free. For her they were easy to get the hang with and she cut my hair confidently.

This is literally the simplest perfect at-home hair cut kit! I use it myself and for my husband’s and children’s hair. The layering scissors are perfect for layering. They feel professional. Easy grip. Smooth shiny black services. They are VERY sharp so use caution with the blades. Absolutely great value, haven’t had to pay for a haircut in the year I’ve had them. They are still perfectly sharp and used monthly. The straight scissors cut perfectly straight so be sure to know what you’re doing when using them or you may end up cutting off a bit too much. They also come with a case for easy storage and a comb to help with the haircuts. 10/10 recommend especially if you don’t want to spend money getting simple haircuts like bang trims.
