How thick is the flat file?

Hi There are four flat files, two for each type of file - one has a square end, the other a pointed end. The steel ones are just on 1mm thick, the silver ones a fraction more, possibly 1.2mm. That's measured against a steel ruler in the absence of callipers or a micrometer. The pointed ones have worked well on enlarging small square/rectangular holes in plastic model parts and the flat ended ones have been just right for cleaning up wider flat edges.
