Half Face Reusable Respirator Full Face Reusable Respirator Replacement Filters Review: I CAN BREATHE!!! - I normally dont write many reviews.. But I really love this respirator mask... The apartment next to mine caught on fire on purpose by my neighbor while I was asleep. It will be 2 years next month... I am having major respiratory and allergy issues... Inside my air ducts and air return large amounts of black dust come out of it... I dont have the finances to move... I have begged the apartment management to please clean the air ducts but they refuse. I have to dust and vacume on a daily basis.. But when I do I get severely congested, and I began to have asthmatic issues.. I am in the process right now trying to find help to get this addressed.. Even the carpet is full of the dust/ash from the fire... But when I do clean I can say that the respirator along with safety goggles do calm down my breathing and allergic reactions.. I didnt think the filter that came with the mask would work but amazingly it traps all of the dust particles... I had bought a different one after Christmas but due to a latex allergy I couldnt wear it... I also have a small frame face and it seals very well... I would highly recommend this product... The pictures above are what I wipe out of my air ducts the other day... this mask can help me be able to breathe. And not feel sick. I am so happy. If so, what size is the filter?** A: Filter is replaceable. It is not a standard PM 2.5 size but they will fit and work. OEM filters are available from Ransking. **Q: what kind of filters does it use? are they hepa filters? what filter rating do they have?where do you get replacement filters?** A: It uses the PM2.5 filters. You can Google it for more info. As for replacements, you can buy them in Amazon. The PM2.5 filters seems to come in a standard size. **Q: Will this mask work for Fiberglass Insulation?** A: No.This mask is not worth a dime. I purchased it and found the whole thing absolutely worthless. The paper part that goes inside is little more than a paper towel. The plastic part kept OPENING on me as I was working with toxic chemicals and dust. I had dust in my nose and lungs. Finally, I gave up on it. I’d go out to Lowes or one of the other big box stores and see what they have in stock. Look in the paint section. That’s what I ended up doing. I found a simple one for $35 and wow! What a difference. I didn’t smell anything while working and I felt my lungs were clear. The difference between this crap mask and the one I got at Lowes was like night and day. Good luck. **Q: Am I correct to assume the exhaust is unfiltered?** A: Correct. Wear a cloth mask over it to protect others. Only got (total) 2 kn90 filters. This is a replacement for virtually the same mask, diff company. That one had 4 kn95 filters. Strap separated at bonded point. Love the valve action on this style mask. Fits proper and snug to the face. Exhausts out the bottom, way less fogged glasses. I have worn for almost 2hrs. Breath condensation is the only discomfort, and expected after hrs. Many different filter choices at Amazon. Have recommended.
