I've gotten a lot of compliments on them!I primarily wear them at the office as a comfortable shoe that doesn't have any rise on the heel. These have already seemed to improve my posture! It's very icy and cold at this time of year, but the soles have an almost octopus-like grip, so they have excellent traction. I wear them with wool socks, which seems to work particularly well with the Mesh shoes. During the day, my feet would normally get pretty sweaty, then I would go outside for the trip home and have freezing feet. The mesh allows my feet to breathe, combined with the wicking ability of wool, allows it to stay dry no matter what. Even in subzero conditions, this combination holds up.I put them to the test today. Going on a hike through very slushy and wet conditions, my shoes and socks naturally got fairly wet. My girlfriend was wearing waterproof snow boots, while I just had on my little mesh shoes and wool socks. With that much water around, her boots eventually allowed some water in, and 2 hours later when we got home her feet were still soaked. My feet, on the other hand, started drying immediately while we were walking. They were fully dry a couple minutes after we got out of the wettest areas, and had no trace of water when I got home! I will definitely make this my standard outdoors wear when it's cold outside.The Suede shoes don't breathe nearly as well, which is somewhat to be expected. They do look nice; in my opinion, suede looks nicer than the brown mesh, but I've gotten much more compliments for the mesh, so I think others would disagree. They might work better with thin dress socks, but that will only work in mild winter conditions or warmer. That issue aside, they also work very well as a comfortable office shoe. The color scheme is just slightly too bright for formal settings, but it works well with casual wear.I highly recommend either shoe, and as long as the durability holds up, I would even suggest using the Mesh version for hiking! Even if these shoes fall apart at a faster rate than others (which I have seen no evidence of in my admittedly short ownership period), at about half the price of any comparable shoe it's still a win-win. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Work and Play *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2015* Great shoe! Fits good and very lightweight. Only draw back is they are hand stitched so you have to take very special care or threads will come undone. Not much support around the back heel but overall they can be worn as casual work dress or going out on the town party night. I have already ordered 2nd pair. Oh yea easy to get dirty but best way to clean is a lint roller. I have very wide (4E) feet, mostly at the toe, with a somewhat narrow heel (D/2E). I was really concerned with these being big enough since the largest size they offer is an 11. Depending on the brand I usually buy between an 11-12, most shoes that do not have wide widths I have to buy a 12. I decided to take the chance on them, and am very glad I did!The way the shoe is constructed I believe you could have really narrow feet and still fit just fine in these - it the length you have to get correct (my "correct length" is usually 11, so this worked really well for me). The width of the shoe adjusts to your foot and snugs up with the laces (the way shoes were intended to in the first place). It is extremely comfortable. I feel like I am walking on one of those gel like inserts, but better.I've been using mine as dress-casual shoes for both work and going about around town, and between the two colors (these grey ones, and the red trimmed black ones) I can wear them with virtually everything in my closet.I'm extremely impressed thus far with the shoe especially at this price point.
