Fun but should add reinforcement just in case
This is my first RC Airplane and I really like it. I have zero experience with RC airplanes but do well with RC helicopters and video game airplanes.I flew this Sky Cruiser about 6 or 7 times today. I really like the plane but it doesn't work well in wind. The wind was 10 mph today.Around 11 A.M. I flew it the first time with a breeze and it flew for a bit and crashed doing a cart wheel. The Sky Cruiser did fine and I decided for the first flight I didn't know what i was doing and it was too windy so I stopped. The canopy fell off but there was no major damage. The nose split a little bit from the open inside towards the nose but did not split the nose fully. I taped the nose together so it wouldn't split anymore. The second time I flew it was around 5-6 P.M. The wind caught on to it and I did loops trying to get it back. It landed behind a house in their driveway. The only damage was a slight accordion of the tip and the canopy fell off again. The next few times were fun. I flew it against the wind and it was gliding perfectly. I adjusted the trim as necessary and it flew straight against the wind gracefully and in loops with ease. The most recent flight was doing very well. I flew it against the wind and then started doing loops. It started getting away from me so I started lowering the Sky Cruiser while doing loops. Everything was going well until I misjudged the distance and instead of landing in the grass I hit the sidewalk nose first. The nose broke off right before the magnets. I wasn't mad, it was my own fault for being inexperienced while flying in 10 mph wind. I had a blast and was not upset whatsoever. I picked up the pieces and brought it home. I gorilla glued the nose back on, used clear heavy duty packaging tape from the bottom to just past where the canopy ends and regular clear tape on the sides to connect the nose to the body. Then I added another long piece of tape on the bottom to almost the tail. The glue is now curing. I made sure the surfaces were smooth with no wrinklesI would recommend taping the nose together and putting tape on the bottom of the Sky Cruiser so it wouldn't break like mine did. At least tape the bottom of the nose and stop right under the wings or where the canopy stopped. I watched a review that mentioned this but I disregarded it because I was so excited to fly it. My fault. Also tape around the nose under the canopy so the nose won't split. I also painted the bottom of the wings red so I could see it easier. All in all, if I listened to a reviewer, I probably would have an undamaged airplane without its nose broken off. It is okay though, this is a learning experience and since I am new to RC airplanes, it's good experience. Hopefully the plane still flies like it should.

Perfect RC for the beginner or the veteran!
This is one of the easiest RCs to fly. With it's ability to just float, you can keep the RC in the air for at least 2 minutes without even using any power. While it states it can stay in the air for 10-15 minutes on a single charge, I've stayed afloat over 30 minutes, being gentle with the power.I would highly recommend getting a second battery so that way you can fly while your other battery charges. The durability of this glider surprised me as I did crash it multiple times.First crash: head on at full speed into a tree. Nothing broke except that the propeller prop fell off and was hard to locate.Second crash: Attempted to do a barrel roll near the ground, ended up scraping the wing to the ground and tumbled wing-to-wing about a dozen time. The canopy fell off and a few scuffs, but nothing major.Third crash: This was a mid air collision with a kite. The propellor got wrapped up in the string but the saver-prop actually saved the propeller from falling off and landing elsewhere.Overall, this is a great craft for a beginner, but even an expert RC pilot will enjoy just taking it out for a cruise....

QC lacking, maybe you'll get lucky.
Ah, it looked like so much fun in the videos. But it was not to be, I started flying it and discovered the tendency to nose dive, probably caused by placing the battery too far forward. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test that since the charger quit working after half a dozen flights. Returned to Amazon. Then doubled down and ordered another one from not Amazon. Arrived with broken tail and linkage damaged. Retailer directed me to return to Hobbyco at my expense.

great beginner plane.
I bought this plane for my dad who is new to this hobby. I wanted to get him a plane he could beat to death. My biggest problem flying advanced planes is putting the prop into the ground so the prop placement on this plane is perfect. It flies at slower speeds so it is very forgiving and has a lot more response time. The beginner or advanced settings make it better for someone like me flying or somebody like my dad, this plane is a great choice.
