Review: LiFePO4 is a much needed upgrade compared to Lead Acid Batteries - I was a bit skeptical about the LiFePO4 batteries because I used to have bad luck with older versions of Lithium Ion technology. But I'll have to say that these newer batteries made me a true believer. They might cost a little bit more, but rest assured that the price is worth it, in threefold. Not only are these batteries lighter, but they also pack an extra punch, they are able to handle high demands. Not only do they charge faster, but the charge lasts longer, and even if the battery is depleted, also has a great recovery rate. Onboard technology makes sure that overcharging, undercharging, and overheating is not an issue. You really can't go wrong with these batteries as an upgrade for your device.
Review: Solid backup battery for fire systems - Even though charging is not ideal for LiPo from my control box it is very close. So far with about 6 months in the field all the batteries that I've put out there have test clean. Will need more time to see if these will hold up, but they should way out perform the old seal lead batteries!

**Q: Can this battery & bms survive getting wet? it looks a lot like the sla battery i use to power pumps in my whitewater canoe, which take a good dunking**
A: Hello,

It can survive getting wet but take steps to protect the terminals from making contact with water. Do not submerge the battery.

**Q: Has anyone used this for a ion tailgater bluetooth speaker? And will the speaker charge the battery after installing it**
A: I put this into my older iPA77 Tailgater and it works perfectly. No problems charging or playing. Unit is much lighter now too, as the old battery made up most of the weight of the unit.

**Q: Will this work on Razor electric scooters?**
A: No it will not. Those scooters can draw significant amperage depending on operating conditions. This battery is rated for max 10A discharge rate, you will likely damage the battery or the protective circuitry in the battery.

**Q: How many amps can this supply?  I have a siren that requires 12 volts at 1 amp. Can this work?**
A: It's probably not it has some circuitry in there to limit the output amps I would move on and pick another brand I bought this for running a power tool and it keeps cutting out on me because of the amp draw

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Correct size, shape, and current-characteristics for a home security system

So far, very satisfied with the the form factor and performance of this item. It fit the cabinet correctly, and has the exact same dimensions as the lead-acid battery it was bought to replace. (Installed it this morning in a home security system.) The battery only fell short in one minor aspect: the terminal blades that connect it to the slide-on clips of the security system were a bit too wide, and did not fit without my altering them with a pair of high leverage electrician's side cutting pliers. After that, everything seems to have gone smoothly; the system is not complaining about the battery, and it seems to function perfectly. We'll see how well it holds up has the months of service accumulate!
