I bought my first Zinus mattress in 2016 here on Amazon and still have it till this day. Almost 10 years later. So it’s no surprise that I had to come back for another when it was time to upgrade. My entire home has the Zinus experience and we just love these mattresses. The firmness never ceases to amaze me, and unlike other brands, I’ve never experienced uncomfortable sinking or that awkward bounce, you get just the right balance of spring and support. I can still have my tray of water or wine on one side (when it’s empty) and encounter zero spillage from my movements. Even after years of use, there’s no noise or creaking. Heat level has also been great; it doesn’t trap warmth the way some foam mattresses do, so sleeping stays comfortable year-round. I guess all of this proves Zinus packs in the right functionality to make it the ideal mattress, durable, reliable, and consistently comfortable

Me and the hubs love this mattress...it came very quickly (2 days after we ordered) 8am in the morning. Had no trouble getting it unboxed, enjoyed the directions so much...perfect for my hubs. We had so things to do that Saturday so once we got it on top of our box springs we headed out for the day. When we returned 5 hours later the mattress looked perfect, we put sheets, blankets and pillows on it. It had filled out completely no bumps or sags...it looked very inviting. So a few hours later we were finally ready to try our new mattress out...it is firmer than I expected which is not a bad thing. I have some major nerve pain issues due to a former tumor on my spine. Laying down is never comfortable for me so I wasn't expecting much. My hubs twists and turns and has 6 pillows he uses to prop himself up with in various ways. The first night was different, I slept, I woke at 5am to take meds and realized that was the first time I had waken all night...the hubs said he slept great, but he always says that and can sleep anyplace. Thought I'd give it some time, so here we are a month later...I am definitely sleeping better, and waking up feeling rested. I actually get comfortable at night. Hubs is down to using 2 pillows, he says the firmer mattress gives more support and he doesn't need the pillows now. We are very pleased. By the way, hubs is a big guy 6'4, 350lbs, before when he roll over I knew it, now I don't even notice. It's very nice, we are very pleased. I wasn't sure about a mattress that came in a box but it's wonderful. We are going to purchase another for our son. We love it, definitely recommend it to anyone.

I gave it only 4 stars because the one I chose was medium firm and the feel on the one we got is solo firm and my shoulders, hips and lower back start to hurt after a few hours of sleep. Besides that the mattress looks good and looks like it will last us a long time.

This queen-size mattress is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! It was easy to unwrap and set up, and the comfort level is outstanding. I also bought the metal platform bed to go with it, and it’s just as impressive, very sturdy and supportive. Couldn’t be happier with this set!

I’m in love with this bed ! Was very skeptical due to you having to buy it online and not actually laying on it to see if it’s to your comfort level or not, but happy I did. The only downsize to everything about this purchase was that the furniture company that I bought my frame from upgraded me to a California King when I bought a king size which is what I ORIGINALLY purchased from the furniture store so when you put this mattress on top it’s is WAAY to small. I was so upset not knowing Furniture company did this UNTIL I plopped this heavy bad boy on top. And now due to COVID and all the restrictions on returning items. I Will have to give it away to someone or donate to the Salvation Army or Goodwill when I spoke to Amazon customer service. So upsetting yet so relaxing and comfy. I will say go for it. It’s right in the middle not to plush or not to firm. Perfect! Will have to just buy another one that fits.

Function/ comfort: I have used this mattress for about six months now. At this point, I am literally sleeping in a hole in the middle of the mattress and it continues to rapidly deteriorate. In just the past couple weeks, I went to no longer using a pillow because I sink so far down inside the mattress, I just use the edge of the hole I am sleeping in as a "pillow." To turn over in the night, I have to do a pushup to push myself out of the hole to turn over. Hard to imagine, but this Zinus mattress is worse than sleeping on the floor. I wondered if there is a warranty for this portable sinkhole, so I called Zinus. The first several times, it really appeared they simply refuse to take calls by using an AI phone tree that denies all calls. But after calling multiple times, I realized it's just a terrible quality system (could this be a pattern?) Pro tip: the phone tree asks if you purchased from Amazon- if you say yes, they immediately hang up on you. I call back and said I just want to talk about mattresses, and the robot says "Sorry, I can't help you with that" and again immediately hung up, etc. So, after saying, "Buy a mattress" repeatedly, I finally reached a person to inquire about the warranty: The Bottom Line: The decision to issue a replacement mattress will be made by sending Zinus a picture of the mattress taken with no sheet or object on the bed. If an observable 1.5 inch sag can be noted, then they will issue a replacement, which takes a week. (Note: They pointedly have no interest in my actual experience with the bed, and or any pictures of me actually in the quicksand mattress of death.) However, Zinus has no pickup service for the old mattress, so the responsibility to dispose of the giant CalKing- sized piece of used bubble gum is mine. So, while the prospect of getting a replacement terrible-quality mattress from Zinus and the joy of watching their delivery workers simply walk away from my current La Brea Tar Pit-style mattress because "they don't do that" is tempting... In closing, I shared my unique view with Zinus customer service that if a company saddles a customer with a (unwieldy, impossible to carry) lemon, they should recognize the significant imposition on that customer and take steps to make it right. Zinus thanked me for this new, deep insight that I provided to them and promised that they would consider it, so that perhaps in the future some other person who absolutely wastes their money on a Zinus product will no longer be burdened with how to dispose of said item. Initial Review: Packaging was less than ideal lol. The box arrived barely intact and trying to pull the mattress out of the box is a job for two grown men 😂 but if you can make it through that part, all you have to survive next is getting the vacuum seal plastic off without throwing out a hip or busting a tv. With that being said, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you open this is a wide open space. The directions say that it takes 72 hours for it to reach its full capacity but this is being written after about 4 hours. I’ve been lying on it for a hour or two while it’s on the floor and it is easily one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever had in my life. Feels extremely sturdy but also cloud like. You can also feel every inch of height in this mattress. I can’t wait to get it made up and on my platform. Pros: - super comfortable immediately out of box -gets more and more comfortable as it expands - relatively inexpensive, especially for what you get - expands quickly - personally didn’t notice any smell - well made (heavy) Cons - heavy -hard to handle alone

I had it for 6 years. Lasted about 4.5 years before it started to sag in the middle. It’s still comfy on both sides of the sag but you end up rolling in the hole and wake up with shoulder, neck and back pain. Had to replace the mattress which I loved for 4.5 years before this happened.
