Q: I only see ones for single toggles. Will 2 fit on side by side for a double plate?

Yes 2 will fit side by side on a double plate.

Q: Can the cover be removed by a 2 year old?

Funny that you should ask, because part of why we bought this was to stop our near 2 year old from turning on the light on Shabbos. If your 2 year old can reach the switch, he/she can definitely remove this light switch cover! It's held on securely, but only with magnets.

Q: We're looking for this in dark brown for my 1940s era house. Black would work too. Do you have other colors?

No. I am sorry, but we only sell these in white. Good Luck!

Q: Does it need a hub? Alexa comparable.

Alexa used to get quite upset when she was shutdown without warning at the flick of a mistaken switch. Since installing this, her contempt has disappeared and she seems to be getting along much better with the family. I do wonder though, given her terse responses, if she’ll snap someday from years of the “wake up, answer our questions, shutdown” routine.
