Pumpkin Patch Up!, Pumpkin Puree Pet Food Supplement for Dogs & Cats, 2.80oz Pouch (Pack of 12)

**Update 4/11/24** My two cats, now 8 years old are still doing great on this pumpkin. The pumpkin has helped tremendously with nausea, vomiting, poops being too hard. I wanted to give an update because I was worried some of my pics might be misleading. I want to be clear that the consistency of this product, in my opinion, is similar to apple sauce, which I spread onto their raw food, like icing on a cake. I add water to their food bowls because I am obsessed with making sure they drink lots of water daily with every meal. Also, both cats had bloodwork done recently, and everything is in normal range, including glucose levels. I was concerned the pumpkin might raise their sugar levels but it did not. Plus it adds healthy carbs to their very high protein diets. I use clips, from work lol, to close the pouches and refrigerate unused portions. One pouch lasts 2 days for 2 cats. The product is a winner all around. So grateful I found it. ————- This pumpkin works like a charm for my 7 year old male cat. I have two cats, male/female. On raw diets. The male has a sensitive tummy. If he eats too quickly, he throws up. If he’s too hungry and eats, he throws up. Lately, his poop has been very, very hard. He would run out of the litter box and leave little gifts for me in different parts of the house. I know my baby. It wasn’t because he had litter box issues or behavioral issues. It simply hurt him to poop. I have always given my cats plenty of water in the same bowl as their food, without mixing the water in, about 2-3 teaspoons with each meal. See pics. Too many cats end up with kidney issues because they don’t have enough water/moisture in their diet. I want to do everything I can so my cats have healthy kidney function. They always drink their water but apparently, my male cat needed more moisture in his diet. My brother recommended pumpkin. He gives his doggie pumpkin because her poop would be too hard, otherwise. This product is perfect because of the ingredients, just pumpkin and water, and the packaging is perfect for cats because cans would be too big. I had to try different ways of giving them the pumpkin. I didn’t want to hide it in their food, so I just placed a small amount in the same bowl, next to their food. They licked it a little. I also tried watering it down, since they have no problem drinking the water that is in their food bowl. See pic. That worked, but some of the pumpkin would be wasted because they wouldn’t drink all the water. They would eat about 90-95% of the pumpkin that way. Now that they have gotten used to the pumpkin, I spread it on top of their food like an icing. Lol. I still give them their water in the same food bowl without mixing it in. They eat and drink EVERYTHING. Don’t give up. Try different things. See my different pics. This works. My beautiful male child has not thrown up, since we started using this product, no more running out of the litter box either. The last pic is my beautiful boy. He is so much more comfortable and happy now. The poops are much smoother coming out. My little female does not have digestive issues, but I give her pumpkin also. And she’s fine with it. I highly recommend this product! Tip: if you want to introduce a new food to your cat, always do it gradually, of course, and make sure they’re good and hungry. They are more likely to turn their noses up at something if they aren’t really that hungry. Good luck!

I got this because my older dog was having some bowel issues. She had minor constipation and a polyp, making pooping difficult and painful for her. She thought this pumpkin was delicious, and after a couple of days it made going to the bathroom easier for her. I prefer the pouches over canned pumpkin, I can just squeeze the pumpkin out, instead of having to use a spoon to scoop it out of a can. And if you dont use the whole pouch at once you can store it in the refrigerator.

My cat has had issues with constipation ever since I rescued him when he was young. I bought him Royal Canine gastrointestinal wet & dry food & mix the pumpkin with his wet food. He loves it. My cat Blackie has good healthy poops now! He is active and healthy.

These are a life saver. My dog’s belly was messed up and I tried rice and chicken which rice usually works with some boiled chicken shredded up but his bowel movements weren’t going solid so my cousin suggested pumpkin puree and this brand specifically which I was willing to try anything and I’ll be damned the same day I first gave him the pumpkin mixed in with his regular dog food he was having normal 💩 that night. Now I give it to him twice a week just to make sure I’m keeping something in his routine that somehow works magic with his digestion system. My baby hasn't had any issues since starting this new pumpkin routine. He stays regular and seems happy. He even seems to be accustomed to the taste these days.

At first I thought these pumpkin pouches were an answer to prayer because I wanted to find a way to just make small portions every week or so to help regulate my senior dog’s bowels. While the packets are convenient, they can be messy to deal with. I cut a corner edge off of the pouch, squeeze out whatever I need to use, roll the cut corner and clip it closed and put the remainder in the fridge for next time. The pumpkin is a very fine consistency…like baby food…and it is pure pumpkin with nothing added. That’s wonderful and was an absolute selling point for me. However, my dog wouldn’t touch it. If I took an oral syringe to push some in his mouth, he spit it out. I tried giving it to my other dogs and no one would touch it, so while it’s a great product because it has one single ingredient, that doesn’t do me a lot of good if I can’t get my dogs to eat it. I ended up giving it away and have heard that person’s dogs fight taking it as well. I wish I had better things to say because it IS a good product. I mean if you’re looking for pure pumpkin with no additives, this is it. I’m sure there are dogs out there who would love the taste of it but for me, I had to find something else.

We picked this up after reading that Pumkin can help our senior cat, who has kidney disease and has been having issues with diarrhea lately. While this alone did not solve it, it defiantly helped "thicken" things up. We had to start giving her a prescribed medication, but the vet told us to also keep giving this to her as well, as there is no harm, and the extra fiber helps her anyways for her sensitive stomach. Bonus is she LOVES this. We just add a tablespoon worth on top of her food. She licks it up first she likes it so much. A great product, and these pouches in these boxes are bigger than the ones from the pet store, and cost less in comparison!

My cat wouldn't eat unless I put a microscopic portion into her favourite food. Also outrageously expensive. It looks like it's only pumpkin puree.

My cat had hard small stools for 2 days I gave her best feline pumpkin as the pouch directed and she has had normal movement also she loves the taste

My kitty loves the taste of this! On my previous order they sent the wrong one and sent it with ginger and turmeric in it. He doesn’t like it at all. Amazon refunded my money due to wrong item being sent and I will reorder with hopes it will be the right one next time

Amazing product! My cat had loose stools since we got him as a kitten and it was only when I started giving him a tsp or so of this pumpkin as a snack daily, that everything normalized. And he loves the taste. I usually add some treats with it and he loves his daily snack. Highly recommend!
