Will a blue ox base plate for a grand cherokee work with tow bar?

The Curt tow bar works with Blue Ox base plates.

The technical details indicate this tow bar comes with a cover. I just received my tow bar and a cover was not in the box. Should there have been one?

Would i have to modify the front bumber for a Class A towing a 2021 GMC Canyon like other brands?

Can't speak specifically to your vehicle. Our tow vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler. The bumper did not need to be modified to accommodate the Curt Tow package. The two towing bars that attach the tow vehicle to the motorhome were fastened to the Jeep chassis and protrude out from underneath the bumper. We are full timers and have been using the Curt system for two years with no problem.
