Would say to spray on your hands, then put through your hair unless your hands move like Bruce Lee as its not a continuous spray. 20inch hair length, and I only need one spritz to cover the length. Don't put it on your roots. A very light spritz before blow drying/straightening will give a lovely gentle sheen without leaving an oily/wet looking shine.
