This power supply works
Best Buy told me to order this power supply to fix my computer. Best Buy then installed this power supply and my computer is now operating again.

Not a direct replacement: missing wires
Good stopgap measure now that HP is no longer selling the original power supply. However, it's not a direct replacement as it's missing the set of wires that tell the operating system the power supply temp. This causes an error message (and loud beep) on EVERY startup. The fan still turns on, so it shouldn't overheat, but it's still annoying.

Perfect replacement for my wife's PSU
Her HP computer died and refused to turn on, which was quite distressing to her. After some troubleshooting, determined the PSU had failed. Found this replacement easily, it arrived on time and brought her PC back to life. She happy.
