I am happy with this Tea Kettle because it does whistle. But be careful, it is full of paper inside which I did not catch. The used manual, and warranty are inside the kettle. I did not realize that until paper came out with the boiled water. I am not sure whose idea that was; it is a disaster.

This small, simply-designed Tea Kettle was sleek and fit perfectly on my small stovetop. It wasn't too big or bulky and didn't take up too much space on top. It heated up enough water for many mug-sized cups of coffee or tea without having to wait forever for a bigger teapot to boil. I love its streamlined design and how quickly it boils and lets me know the water is ready with its very loud whistle. Plus, the price was unbelievable. It's turned out to be the ideal teapot for me! And I love how it looks sitting on my stove, ready for action. I'd already bought 2 or 3 other teapots that I had to return because their whistles were too quiet, or the pots were too big & clunky, or they took too long to finally heat up--but this one turned out to be just what I was actually looking for! It has a snug-fitting lid, easy to flip open spout, a convenient handle that lies down: it's just a lovely, simply-designed teapot that I enjoy looking at on top of my stove with its handle up. I'm so glad I waited until I could find this one!

Very nice whistling kettle. Spout and lid work great. Looks nice setting on the stove.

Kettle works as it should. Loud enough across the house. Boils pretty quickly. It has spots in the bottom of it after the first uses. Doesn’t come off with a sponge. They give you instructions on how to remove it, I just didn’t think I would need to do it so frequently. It solved my problem of spilling boiling water.

I love this teapot! It’s built sturdy but not heavy; the handle design makes it very hard to burn your hand unlike others I’ve had. The whistle starts off at lower volume then builds which my dog appreciates. The flip lid to the pour spout is easy on my arthritic thumb, overall, best I’ve ever had!!

Lasted only 9 months before the lid broke. The kettle itself boils water fine and the whistle works. It gave out with normal daily use, no drops or abuse. Three stars because it functioned well while it lasted, but I can’t recommend it if you want something durable.

Love my teapot - It looks good; the whistle is loud and clear; handle is strong and connected well to pot stays cool when water is hot the spout and lid function well;; lid fits tight; its stainless Steal color has held up well. Keeps water hot for several minutes after heating; the spout pours into cup without spilling the water.

It looks just like the picture and works as it should. The problem is that the plastic black handle will drop onto the hot kettle which means the handle eventually melts a little. It took me a few months of use to realize what was happening. But no matter how careful I am to make sure the handle is upright when I turn on the heat, it will sometimes just drop onto the kettle when I step awy. Now I have a functional but ugly tea kettle. If someone had given it to me, I wouldn't be bothered. But it does annoy me that I paid for something that is impossible not to damage. I miss the old, cheap, and virtually indestructible kettles of the past. Everything seems to be made with one foot in the landfill these days...

The handle keeps dropping and hot. Need gloves or anything to cover the handle everytime I grab it

Broke after 3 months of light use and unable to return. The lid stopped shutting properly which stops it from making a noise when the water is boiled

La compré para un negocio de temazcal, para ofrecer agua para té, por lo que la he usado poco. Tenía una mala experiencia con otra tetera comprada a otro proveedor, sin embargo, hasta ahora, me ha salido muy buena. Creo que las instrucciones sobre la intensidad de la flama de la estufa son vitales para evitarle cualquier daño. Fue buena compra.
