When I was looking for a clipper set for myself, my wife came across this dog clipper set which was going for £12.99 with promotion at the time. While I was a little tentative, after some research, I have found that functionally the two types of clippers are the same with minor differences such as metal vs. plastic combs and lower noise levels for pets to reduce irritation.All good with me and I am happy to report that, after a first cut, I am very impressed by the quality and the attachments included.- [ POWER ] Judging by the motor, the clipper maintains the same rotational speed whether running on power or on batteries. I had an older clipper that ran audibly slower when on batteries so this is a real plus. Time will tell if it deteriorates over time. That said, I am not in a position to verify the 7000 RPM claim.- [ BLADES ] The blades are very sharp but a caveat that the edge protection isn't quite as good as my other clipper so do be careful around the ears especially. Happy to report no blood spilt on this occasion so it's certainly not dangerous by any means.- [ CLIPPER GUARDS ] This has one of the most comprehensive set of guards from 3mm through to 18mm. You're unlikely to need them all but gives you great flexibility.- [ USB POWER ] One of the key features for me is the ability to charge via USB which is ubiquitous. I wouldn't buy another clipper set that didn't support one. No issues with forgetting a custom charger.Some negatives:- Edge guards - As noted above, do be careful around the ears. Probably similar to other clippers.- No pouch or bag - A few others include a bag for convenience. Disappointing one wasn't included.- No cape - Since it's meant for pets, there isn't a hairdresser's cape included.At £12.99, I'm willing to overlook the negatives. Go for it!

Worked really well but the combs are hard to attach. Other than that its perfect. Charge holds really well too.

Low noise and easy to use

Wow! Professional grade at a fraction of the price. Low noise so my wee doggo barely seems to notice them at all. The comb and scissors are also fantastic quality. I would definitely recommend.

Purchased these to try and help my Persian cat. Unfortunately they wouldn’t cut through his fur, but he does have long and fuzzy fur. I have yet to try them on my dog

I've found it easy 2 hold, I fully charged it b4 hand, completed fully grooming my little pooch without it running out of juice

Does exactly what I needed it to do for trimming my little dogs hair.
