If we can't use the whole package at one time, can the remainder be frozen?

I froze mine, then when I was ready to use it , I just dumped it into a bowl of cold water to thaw while I was fixing dinner. When I was ready for it I just added it to the pan. I actually liked it better that way as it was more tender than what I had used before.
