I can plug in a monitor via HDMI, or a vga monitor via a Targus microdock, into this adaptor, along with the USB-C power cable for the laptop and then just plug in this adaptor and I’ve got power and an external screen, all through one connection! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent USB C to HDMI adaptor. 100% Great *by M***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2020* I have been thinking for a while that I need some sort of backup for my Nintendo Switch base station so that I dont need to keep moving it around the house and also so I dont need to take it when I go away (when things go back to normal) I searched for a while and got mixed reviews on some items. They I found this one and took the plunge. I was not disappointed. The item arrived next day and it does exactly what you want it to. As you can see from the pictures there are three inputs in the mini hub. You get a USB C (for power), HDMI and USB. You plug one end into the Switch (male connector) and the other end you need to attach an external power source (like the one you got with the Switch) or the HDMI (for plugging into the TV) and then you can add another USB wire such as a USB C out for charging a controller or other device (Mobile phone etc) Its a great item and I am so happy I bought it. As you can see from the pictures I had no issues with the Switch. Power came and it was ready to go. The package was also very nice (re-usable bag bag for storage) I am 4 days in and enjoying the new portability of my Switch. The build of the hub is very nice. Main body is silver with some high gloss Silver edges. Main wire is white as per the photos. I cant say enough about this item. The cost was great and also the function is 100% of what I need. Cannot fault it. I used the charger and usb c cable for my DJI Mavic Mini and it worked fine. I would imagine an iPhone or iPad charger would work ok too.-a cheap stand. You could lie the switch on the floor, but we had an iPhone stand lying around so used that.That’s it!
