Wildflower Album: Applique & Embroidery Patterns

This is a great pattern book of flowers. Bea has included a paragraph about each flower which is interesting and adds to the beauty and wonder of the flowers. Her applique designs are very good; they are large, about 10" high, and clearly marked as to the order the pieces should be appliqued in. This book should be a classic, one to be included in every quilter's library.

Nice collection of patterns which can be adapted to pillows or wall hangings. I kept this one and gave away the book that only had about half of these patterns by same designer. Would recommend this one to others over the other one.

The book is exactly as advertised and I am very pleased with it. I plan to use the patterns for embroidery instead of applique on a quilt I am currently making.

Bel libro, l'autore racconta qualcosa di ogni fiore. Disegni grandi, molti pezzi ma non difficili per chi ha esperienza di appliqué. Come tutti i libri un po' vecchi l'autore usa il metodo tradizionale ma si può adattare i disegni ai metodi moderni con il prodotto adesivo su entrambi i lati e rifinire con la macchina da cucire.
