Absolute value for the money
I was using Diablo and Norton sanding belts and they worked fine for the task. Longevity and sharpness of the grit being used were always an issue. These sanding belts are at a higher level and really help control costs.

Very tough belts
These belts last much longer than some of the top name brand belts out there. The only thing you need to do is make SURE the arrows are pointing in the right direction inside the belt.

Perfect for stripping a deck and durable
This 50-grit was perfect for getting through three coats of stain on my deck. The grit was much more productive than the supposed ACE Hardware 50-grit belts. Just follow the printed arrows for the rotation mounting direction. Never had one break.

Good price, work ok.
Not sure which of 3 different groups of 3×18 belt sander belts this is as description was truncated, but all three sets work well, particularly in being true shape, so I don't have to adjust sander tracking when changing belts. All three sanded hard wood well, cutting fast and leaving a surprising smooth surface regardless of grit. As to life, belt Sanders do tend to use up sandpaper relatively rapidly, but in this application, not sure of the relative share belt vs sander made (using Ryobi cordless). Important is that none of the belts has broken on use. Given my experience with a corded Craftsman 3×21 sander, these belts are better in that regard than ones I have purchased from hardware stores.

Coarse work
I've owned a belt sander for years and dug it out to try to salvage the top of a free 3' x 5' drafting/drawing table that had been covered with epoxy. The Red Devil Heavy Duty scraper did a terrific job but has its limitations. I figured the belt sander would make the wooden top actually useable as my garage work bench. Looking at the mess on the desk I figured a 10 pack of belts would be required so that's what I ordered. The order arrived as promised and I set to work. The belt sander has always left wood a bit smoother than I would have expected based on the grit so I ordered coarse paper, 80 grit, to get thru the mess. The sanding process took a very short time and used only one belt, much to my amazement. The top looks like fresh wood, ready to be finished but is not as smooth as I would like. That 80 grit paper is coarse. These belts are excellent and I would highly recommend them.I have since ordered a pack of 120 grit belts to put a smoother finish on the wood.

3x21 36 grit belts are absolute garbage!
3x21 36 grit belts are absolute garbage! On every belt that I used, the glue holding the belts together failed within 5-10 minutes of use! DO NOT PURCHASE! The glue fails then the belt gets jammed up in the sander. I can not give a review on the longevity or the durability of the grit because like I said the glue would fail within 5-10 minutes of usage. Due to the glue failure the longevity and the durability of the belts are only one star. I will be returning for my money back!

Made in USA - Conneticut
These appear to be equal to the "name brand" belts for my 3" x 21" sander. If I'm wrong about quality, will try to remember to update this review. Price was substantially better than at the local Big Box stores. Looked at packaging closely; that they are made in USA is a big plus for me.--Update: + 2months - Increased to 5-stars, no problems with quality.

Poorly constructed...
I bought a 10 pack of 120 grit belts, they work well, however, the joint in the abrasive is poorly constructed, the belt material is overlapped, producing an unsteady bumping as the belt spins. Might be ok for paint removal, but for shaping furniture joints etc. is not the best, I would not recommend for precision work.

Rip appart every 30s
They last only 20-30 seconds on sander before breaking at the joints. Tried them backward (I tought maybe they didnt put the arrow on good side) and it lasted the same amount. With store bought papers i get around 100x more times

Bumpy ride
I bought a new sander and used three different grids for my work. The 50 grid from IVY worked fine and provided a smooth ride. The 80 grid from POWERTEC worked also very smoothly. But the 120 grid from IVY was poorly glued at the seam and left a thick ridge producing a bump at each turn. At the beginning I thought that there were something wrong with the sander but the problem was with the paper.

Excellent Belts, Better than some that cost 2X the price.
I have used these belts to remove stubborn layers of latex stain and thick coatings of primer off of an old deck.. I have also used these belts to cut through layers of extremely durable wood filler. Where other sanding belts could barely make headway, this 36 grit belt did it quite readily. They also seem more durable than some of the other brands that I have used in the past.I've used about 4 different brand names so far over a couple of years and have always been somewhat disappointed with other brands. I was so pleased with the IVY Classic belts that I ordered 2 other boxes with different grit levels. At this price, I'd suggest that you give them a try. This is not a paid review, I purchased my belts at full price and haven't been given any samples to evaluate.

Durability?
I used these for a hardwood deck. I'm not big, and I'm not young, but the belts would still break long before the grit wore out. May be quite good for lighter duty but don't know that yet.
