The inside is a soft Styrofoam/plastic and the outside mylar. I am sure that it will melt at a high enough temperature. **Q: Do i put the ice packs inside the isolation or on top of it to keep items frozen?** A: I generally put them in the middle. I pack a lot of little refrigerated items, and my goal is to keep them cold, not frozen. I have not received any negative feedback from my customers yet. I don't know how well it would keep frozen items frozen. But, if your question was to put the ice packs inside or outside of the thermal bag, well, you have to put the packs inside. The whole purpose of the bag is to keep the outside temperature from getting in. ## Frequently Bought Together - Smilco Reusable Insulation Bags Thermal Box Liners 13 x 8.5 x 12 Metalized Box Liners 6 PCS for Lunch Box Shopping Bag Insulation Lining Waterproof Insulation Package - Ice Pack Bulk-Dry Ice for Shipping Frozen Food-Lunch Box Ice Packs-3 Pounds-24+Hours-Slim 15x12in/5x3in-Reusable ice Packs-Freezer Packs-Ice Packs Shipping-Dry ice Packs for shipping-12 Pack-BPA Free - Reusable Dry Ice Packs for Shipping & Storage - Long Lasting Cold Packs for Lunch Box & Coolers - Ideal for Frozen Food & Drinks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/202565230-insulated-box-liners-6-pack-reusable-thermal-bags-13-x](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/202565230-insulated-box-liners-6-pack-reusable-thermal-bags-13-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
