The best most consistent results MUST be combined with atleast minimal but noticeable adjustments in the areas of healthy eating, portion control and moderate exercise. DO NOT get discouraged during the first two weeks of the journey:) Your body is still adjusting. Wear for ONLY 2-4 hours for the first week and gradually increase to 6 and 8 when you reach week 2. During the second week you can begin wearing the waist trainer for 8-10 hours. By the end of the month, your max can range from 12-18 hours. Practice interval training with the waist trainer as you get later in the month. This means wear it 3-5 days of the week and/or wear it a few hours some days and several hours other days. This will yield the best results and prevent bodily injury. It can be worn on skin or on top of a thin undershirt. Be patient. The waist trainer applies pressure to your lower back, so add back-strengthening exercise and stretching and follow the schedule above to avoid injury. If you get overly ambitious during the first couple of weeks, you WILL do more harm than good. Start with the first set of hooks and as you listen to your body and lose inches, you will know when you should progress to the 2nd and 3rd sets of hooks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best waist trainer by far! *by A***8 on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2018* The chart is wrong. According to it, I should have bought a 6XL, but read reviews and decided to go smaller. Initially, I bought a 4X. It came in, fit fine, but was not snug enough. I could snap it on all three hooks with ease. So.... I repurchased the same day and am NOW WEARING a 3XL.My measurements two days ago were:Waist - 41.75 / Navel - 44.75 / Lower Stomach - 45.25 ................ After only two days of waiting for my new size to arrive and wearing the looser, but semi-form fitting 4X, I lost 1.25 inches in my waist, and just over an inch in my navel area. (Wear time: Day 1 - 8 hours and Day 2 - 11 hours)With my new 3XL Cincher on, my waist is just under 39 inches. That's around a 1 and a half inch difference instantly!!My suggestion is if you have a larger belly like me and start off at 40 inches to the mid 40's, then get a 3XL. This is VERY comfortable to wear and hides many of the problem areas around your core. Also, don't forget to hydrate. You DO sweat, even with typical daily motions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don’t go by size chart! Love this waist trainer *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2018* Got my leopard print waist trainer today and it’s very nice. According to the size chart I would have needed a 2XL. Thankfully i read Reviews and went down a size to an XL. It fits great! Material is nice and not itchy! Hooks are sturdy. I’m 5’2 169lbs 37.5 waist and XL was the perfect fit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/202464923-luxilooks-womens-waist-trainer-corset-body-cincher-shapewear-sport-girdle](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/202464923-luxilooks-womens-waist-trainer-corset-body-cincher-shapewear-sport-girdle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
