I am using the straps that were included as well as the screwgate rings which seem well constructed, and I think I will mess around with using just one suspension ring eventually.My rating reflects the lower quality hardware included, but it does not reflect the standalone quality of the hoop which seems great. I would recommend purchasing this hoop as long as you install it properly, and dealing with the company from which it ships was a positive experience. They answered my questions promptly and sent the item as soon as I had ordered it.

Warning: I am a lyra novice. I have only been on the hoops at the aerial studio a few times, but decided to order my own to learn with at home. This seemed like one of the better prices and so I took a risk. I got the 37 inch; I'm 5'4 with method 1 measurement of 34 inches (measuring from bottom to top of head while seated and adding so many cm; there are guides online). It came painted in a silver sparkle paint which is great because that will keep it protected from rust. The swivel that comes with this kit is absolute JUNK FYI, just throw it away and buy a sturdier one. The free strap seems to be decent quality and held up on my test run.

4.5 stars only because of personal preference though. I bought the double 90cm lyra. I use Lyras at the aerial studio I go to and the bar on this one overall feels slightly thicker than what I'm used to. I bought the 90 cm hoop, as is standard at my studio, and it does feel a bit smaller than what I use at my studio but I'm not very bothered by it since I'm only 5"3, if you are taller though I would definitely recommend sizing up. Overall I love the hoop. Very sturdy, came with all the equiptment it said it would. I can see why instructions would be useful for people new to Lyras and rigging systems but there's always YouTube. I knew what I was doing so it wasn't very difficult to set up for me. Just hung it from a tree outside. If you do this just make sure you get proper rope for weight class and resistant to the weather, don't leave the Lyra outside if you want to take care of it, put it away after each use. Also tape with hockey tape for grip. I recommend applying 2 layers of tape and 2 rolls. Very satisfied with this purchase! Great quality stainless steel! Great product!

Good hoop. I got the 95cm hoop and I’m 5’ 5”. I wish there would have been an 85cm single hoop instead because this one is too big but it’s still nice. The thickness is a bit larger than I’m used to also so it would be harder to use for someone with smaller hands.

You will need lyra tape for comfort and safety, as the lyra is slippery and can also be painful. The straps included are fine if you don't need to readjust it often. I used old trx straps I had to easily adjust because I change the height very often. I definitely highly suggest safety mats as a safety requirement.

My daughter loves her hoop. She has incredible upper body strengh, and the love for trapeze. Fantastic gift.

Took a little longer to arrive but made it in time. No directions but pretty easy to install

great quality and fun for my 12 yr old. We hang from our swinger and also from the basement ceiling. Good buy!
