I love everything about this rod. My expectations were definitely well beyond exceeded once I inspected the rod up close, I tested it this past weekend and impressed by how light it is, the sensitivity, and paired with a nice reel how smooth the casting feels. It comes shipped with a nice fabric sheathe/satchel that gives the rod a high end feel. The handle is a simple EVA design that's long enough to give you leverage when casting, the rod guides are solid and feel tight, and the tip is sensitive to allow for nice whipping casts. Overall I'm very satisfied, for the price you're paying this easily feels like a $150+ rod.

My wife ordered the 9’ rod for me prior to a vacation trip. When it arrived, the reel seat end was cut crooked, was splintered and was never finished. The top section of the rod would not fit on the bottom because of the shoddy workmanship. From now on I’ll pay a bit more and go to a store to see what I’m buying! If I could give a “0” star rating I would!

Just got this yesterday and looking it over it seems like a decent rod. I like the amount of guides as it should cast better than those with fewer. But I haven't used it yet so I cannot comment on it other than first impressions. I will update this later after I've had some time on the water with it.

Purchased to throw medium weight muskie lures. First trip out about the 5th cast... SNAP. Lure and the top half of the rod go flying. Clearly garbage. Stamped for up to 3 oz lures and snapped throwing a swimbait that was just shy of 2.

Good stiff rod. I use it for crabbing so I don't want flexibility. It performed great. If you want to feel light biting I would look for a different rod

This as an amazing rod. I ordered the 8’2” M and it is amazing light but still has backbone. I paired it with a Daiwa Fuego 4000 and it launches like a rocket. I’ve already landed several large stripers with no problem at all. I was able to cast for hours without the arm fatigue I normally get with my surf rod. You will not beat this rod at this price point.
