I Purchased this Product to help in Re Wiring my 1955 VW Manx buggy. These allowed me to Create more of a Production Wire harness, instead of just running long wire runs with individual split connectors. This Give the ability to create your harness Exactly the way you need it. It take a bit of practice to get the terminals just right but after the first time or two it become easier to create each end . you do have to give some though in advance if you are doing complex multiple connections so planning it out before you start is Key but this make it by far so much easier to get it done !!!! As you can see in the Pictures i took it a step further and Heat Shrunk all the Connections and Junctions and installed some Quick Connect Modular wire conectors. I used this cable sleeve for running my boat trailer wires in. I can fit 3- 16ga wires in it without a problem. When I have 3 butt connectors right next to each other, it does get a little tight to pull over. It does fit, but I wouldn't recommend putting all your splices right next to each other. Otherwise, I love the black and blue- it matches my boat. Time will tell how long it holds up to abuse. When cutting, have a lighter handy. If you don't melt the cut end, it will fray. Shrink tube, or electrical tape also works.

OK so this isn’t the standard use of this product but..... I am a full time RVer and we have a coach with a mascerator waste water system. When we turn it on, the line expands as wast water fills the line under pressure. I used this product to prevent abrasion to the waste water line. It works great and looks good too.

I love this stuff. I buy 1/4" and use it on mic cables. My mic cables are all Canare starquad L-4E6S. I find that I need to spool off 10% more than the length of my cable. So a 30 foot cable I spool off 33 feet of this cover. I end up tossing a few inches but rather that than toss wire. It can be hard on your hands putting this over the Canare wire. A lot of pushing the cover to expand and then moving the expanded shield along my mic cable.

Well made and expandable. Be sure to account for length loss when expanding to full opening(I failed to do this and had to order more materail). Also, all these braided products tend to fray at the end when you fiddle with them much. Try folding the end back into itself first thing( a little fraying will occur) before inserting protected lines/objects. This will offer a cleaner finished look and a chance to zip tie the end closed cleanly.

Love this material. It works great for vacuum hoses.when you’re vacuuming floors or hooked up to sanders, routers , saws etc. this tube allows the hose to glide over and around corners and edges without drag or catching. Also an easy way to put on hoses ,use a empty caulking tube or Gatorade bottle . Cut so you have ridged tube , electric tape stretch tube to bottle or caulking tubes. The tube will now slide over your vacuum hoses easily. Hope this helps.

good item, strong, adds some stifness but flexable, read other reviews for how to use, i cut the wires with twofactory ends, slip on shrink tube and the braided wrap, solder the wires heat shrink those, slip the wire to full lenght , add some supper glue at the ends, heat shrink both ends, looks good,
