Review: Great toy - This is a beautiful, well made toy. The wood is nice and smooth, you don't have to worry about any rough edges. I like to buy simple toys such as this for my grandkids; they enjoy playing with it and adding some extra horses. The size is good for preschoolers but I think they will continue to play with it beyond those years. This is a toy that will last a long time. It would also make a thoughtful gift. Definitely recommend.

**Q: will schleich horses fit in the melissa and doug trailer**
A: No, the Schleich horses are too tall. we pulled the roof off and cut out the middle so the horses heads would fit, then glued it back on.

**Q: Are the horses solid plastic or wood with the flocked surface? Or are they hollow with flocked surface?**
A: The horses are a bit strange with the cover over the plastic and the hair/mane!!!  They seem to be solid and the legs are stronger that the regular plastic horses made in China! This is very cute and she loves to play with it!!!

**Q: Are the horses made of plastic?**
A: The outside of he horses are velvety, to mimick a horse feel! Very cute! Until I dismantle them, since I did not manufacturer them, other than this I cannot tell you! Blessings!

**Q: how big are the two fllocked horses on the melissa and doug toy?**
A: Not very large; they fit perfectly in the trailer... maybe 3"x4"? They are cute and have gotten a lot of use in our house!
