Fantastic photos very correct.
I have a house in Costa Rica. These are fantastic. The one I originally want is no longer available. This came in and is great. Seem sturdy enough for wet weather and to keep in car.

Handy to have in a pocket when visiting Costa Rica.
I have purchased several of these Costa Rica wildlife guides. They are handy to carry when hiking in Costa Rica. They are not as informative as a book and are a bit pricey, but hold up well in a pocket and are useful.

Purchased these for recent trip to Costa Rica. Laminated cover is nice for protection from rain (which is plentiful in July) and the illustrations are nice. It is not comprehensive by a long shot however it does make a handy reference for many of the common birds likely to be seen. It provides no habitat, behavior notes about the bird and is no substitute for a conventional bird identification guide. If I had it to do over again I would have used he money to purchase a good identification book. These are widely available at tourist shops in Costa Rica.
