ROBOTIME Model Car Kits - Wooden 3D Puzzles - Model Cars to Build for Adults 1:16 Scale Model Grand Prix Car

Bought this as a gift for my aging father who likes puzzles. I figured I'd give him a challenge with a 3D one, and he likes old cars. He called to tell me it took him half the day, but he enjoyed putting it together and wanted to get more. It made my day!

This is the easiest one I've done so far. Decent instructions. The boards were well constructed and had no issues. All parts were accounted for with a few extra pieces for the easy to break parts. I was a little confused at the end because there were a couple parts that were not duplicates but never got used. I didn't see any places where they should've fit. Be careful with the boards that bend. They are super easy to break. There's an extra for the seat, but obviously not for the main outer piece.

I got this for my husband. The car looks great, and building it was a lot of fun, but be careful when putting it together. Some pieces are fragile, which the instructions remind you about, and the kit comes with some extra pieces just in case! My husband did struggle with how fragile some pieces were, but I had no issue.

It was definitely fun to assemble, is not always the easiest to put together and specially with it being wood. Luckily it all went together as it needed to be

This brand has better cut-outs and wood than most so it's worth it to me to pay a little more than go with a generic brand. I painted each piece as I went so it takes a lot longer than usual. Only a couple pieces were really delicate and I had to hold my breath to assemble. The pieces fit perfectly. I did use glue (modpodge) because I wanted it stabilized. The wheels actually roll. I left off the windshield and side mirrors because I wanted to keep it 1910 authentic. I used acrylic paint and minimal sanding, although staining it or keeping it natural would look great too. Would absolutely recommend...it was an enjoyable activity.

Directions clear and reasonably easy to follow. The friction fit of some of the pieces required patience and strong fingers. I found it useful to use a the flat blade of a tiny flat head screwdriver to push some of the smaller pieces into place. Appreciated the extra pieces of some of the most fragile parts (I did break several as I tried to install). Enjoyed every moment of assembling this kit. Wish there were more with this level of complexity.

I purchased this as a gift for one of the seniors that live at the campus where I work he was a former carpenter and he would carve out different statues and he made wallets from leather, etc. he was bored and had nothing to do since he doesn’t come to any of the activities so I gave this to him as a gift and it was like he had received $1 million he was so happy he was in his apartment. He came back three days later and said that he put the base of it together because there’s almost 2000 pieces. He said that this was the best gift he had ever received. I was so happy and so

Used on vacation, occupied approx 3 afternoons of time, going slowly and enjoying it. Instructions are definitely particular, probably would be frustrating for anyone who doesn't take the time to slow down and understand what it's asking you to do. Very tiny pieces and can be frustrating if you miss a step and have to go back and take things apart to fix something that doesn't affect the build until about 20 steps later. Somewhat flimsy once built, meant to be a display piece, not to be used or even bumped unnecessarily once built or pieces will fall off.

It looks very good, bought it for a Christmas present for my brother. He loved the camera one I got him another year, so this should be a hit as well...

This was a christmas gift for my husband, he loved it, took him about 4 hours to assemble. the pieces are small and a little on the thinner side, however with care you can safely remove them from board . The finished model is gorgeous!

I am absolutely having a blast with this. Be careful with some pieces as they are fragile!
