I ordered the 50 skein pack which was £9.99 when I bought it in June even though it's only £6.99 now in August; now I see that there is a 150 skein variety worth the same what I paid for only 50 skeins so I am rating the 'value for money' lower because of that, although I don't think I would have been bothered if I hadn't seen this it does sting to see - to think I could be 100 skeins of thread richer if I bought them today! The thread quality is excellent, just like what you'd get from brands like DMC etc. Unfortunately, I find that the colour variety I recieved feels a bit unbalanced - I would have prefered something more like what they show in the product picture. My selection has only one shade of purple (they have maybe 3/4 different purples in the picture), but I'm only dissappointed by this because it's my favourite colour. More disappointingly is that my set has no black! I would've thought black should be a staple of any colour selection, and I find black is so helpful for outlining my embroidery. But that asside, this set still provides a good base to get you started with embroidery, and the needles and other bits are a nice bonus too! You just might need to go to the store if you wanted any specific colours.

I purchased these threads in order to make a selection of friendship bracelets during these unpredictable and unprecedented times.As a young girl my sister's and I would make them along with other creative arts and tasks.The quality of the thread is perfect, it's the thickness I remember it to be in order to achieve the perfect bracelet and to also apply to other creations.Great value for money, great array of colours, great quality ... impressed if I do say so 👌

This is a great selection with bright colours. Good for starting out on some cross-stitches. Maybe another buyer could help me - I've started this chicken picture as a gift but I ran out of the wing colour. I've bought a second pack but this colour is not included (which I understand as it's a random selection). Anyway I lost the number for it, anyone have any idea which number orange this is for the chicken's wing?

I was very nervous about ordering thread online as I needed specific colours and I wasn’t sure if I would get the colours I wanted with most products saying you get sent ‘random’ colours. However, this product definitely did not disappoint. The colours are super shiny and there are so many my sister and I were talking for ages about how lovely the colours are. I am super impressed and extremely happy with this product and will probably order it again if I ever need more thread.

I receive this item today and the colors are lovely with no repeats. They will be perfect for upcoming projects i have in the works. The quality of the thread seems good, and the extras pieces like needles and seam ripper etc are a nice add. The only little issue is that one of the needles came broken, but i don't think that is on the seller, merely a factory thing. If you are looking for a good range of colors for money to start your embroidery journey, i would recommend this kit.

Ideal 50 shades. More than I would wish for the price. Excellent starter kit for embroidery works. Nice coverage of green, yellow, blue and earthy colors. Enough yellows and purples. Not enough reds for my liking but this isn't disadvanatge.

these embroidery threads are great! they have so many different uses and so many different colours - my daughter loves them for making friendship bracelets! 10/10 recommend for hours of fun
